Chloe is going to be a BIG sister!!! I am pregnant!!!

I found out Monday but had my first official OBGYN appt today and first sonogram. It was funny because the last 2 weeks I have been super tired and really stressed out and crying alot. I have anxiety and I thought my medication was messed up, I actually thought I was having mental breakdowns, lol (its funny now, it wasnt then though:D ) so anyways I made an appt to see my doctor this past Monday for anxiety. I was sort of really late as for my cycle, so I decided to take a pregnancy test before I went and sure enough it came back positive which actually shocked me BIG TIME- I was not expecting that. It also really scared me because Ive been on several medications such as anxiety meds, and adderall for ADHD and I know its not good for the unborn baby so I was really really worried the last few days. But today I had my first sonogram and found out Im already 10 week along and I got to see the baby. Doctor said the baby looked great and should totally be fine which made me feel alot better. I was amazed at how developed he/she already is in the sonogram! It so awesome!!! I saw 2 arms, 2 legs, a head, body, everything! Im so excited! Im due around January 4th.

So I just wanted to let everyone know, I cant keep it a secret anymore! lol It was hard enough waiting 3 days.:D :p

I dont think I said it yet, which I meant to in the initial post , but we were not planning to get pregnant for about 2 more years. Dont get me wrong me and my husband are super excited. BUt thats why I was so worried this week is because since this wasnt planned I was on meds that could be harmful for a pregnancy.

Congratulations!!! I'm happy that I guessed right. There is nothing better in my opinion than having a baby. I love being a mom and hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!!! :p

I told him as soon as I took the test, I woke him up from a dead sleep early in the moning, lol. He was shocked, and still half asleep. I think his exact words were "oh crap", lol. He is totally excited about it though, just shocked when he first found out because this was so not planned.
He has been cooking for me all week and making me feel better becasue I did get a sick to my stomach yesterday. He has been giving me my prenatal vitamins and really being such a sweetheart. I am just so excited to have such a good hubby and he is going to be an awesome daddy :love:

I don't know if everyone can tell just HOW EXCITED she is in her posts. I talked to her on the phone yesterday and today too & she is sooooooooooooooooooo excited & happy & I'm so happy for her!

I know, I really am soooooooo excited I cant even think straight. And since Im off my ADHD med I have been sooooooo hyper all week and the excitement I have makes it even worse, lol- Sadie's mom can vouch to this. I talked her ear off today on the phone and Ive been so excited Im talking like a thousand words a minute, no one can understand me :D :D :D
This wasnt planned but Im so glad it happened, divine intervention (sp?)!!! I was olnce really scared of being a mother but now that its really going to happen Im just too excited to even worry about that :p

I know, I really gave it away when I said it was the opposite of life-threatening, lol:D . My husband really wanted me to wait to tell people until todays sonogram so we would know how far along I was but as you can see I was too excited to keep it a total secret. I had to hint around to it! I am sooo bad! :D :p

Oh, Shana! I am so happy for you and your husband! What a lucky little one to be coming to your family! You will do awesome! Hope you are feeling better soon! Morning sickness is the pits:thumbdown , but totally worth it! :D :thumbup:

Yes I can understand you!!! And yes she is talking a thousand words a minute, but it makes me smile because I know that it's not all because she's off her meds....it's the excitement too! And you know you can "talk my ear off" (your words, not mine) ANYTIME!!! And I think it was divine intervention, too. Everything happens for a reason!!! God knows what he's doing...he plans stuff even when we don't!

Oh my gosh, that brings back memories. I remember how excited I was and that was 35 years ago. Congratulations and enjoy every minute of it. Now I will still keep you in my thoughts and prayers but for a different reason. Patty
