| sewing question For any of you out there who sew... I am making a doggie raincoat for Gizmo with McCall's pattern M4686. I have cut out the pieces for the XS size and the pieces look way too big for Gizmo. Have any of you used this pattern? Does it run big, or is my inexperience showing here? Any advice would be appreciated!

| Are you considering the hem size? That will take up material all the way around most of the time. You can always lay the pattern on your baby to see how it's going to fit. Remember you're not going to want a raincoat very tight at all.

| A little big...oh well! It did come out a little too big. LOL!! I didn't really follow the pattern that closely either. I kept modifiying it to try to fit him! LOL But I still think he looks cute. He makes me laugh....he's just such a good sport.
