So, I just got this in my email from my SIL and I just can't get over it. Call me sheltered but.....
If my daughters ever did this to their bodies, I don't know what I would do!

im sorry but i think you people are really rude. I have this done and personally I love it! who are you to judge?....Lmao im joking! it is pretty extreme, I have an 11 yr old andif she ever came home with this done i would yank each one out one by one lol J/K

Unfortunately, I think it's probably very real. I vaguely remember seeing something about this on some special about piercing a while back but had forgotten about it.

These are really disgusting to look at, but more disgusting for the people who have them, because they get infected soooo easily and I've heard it hurts like heck.

Young folks who seem to be in a lot of mental anquish "cut" themselve to ribbons, so maybe this is a way to make the pain look stylish instead. I wonder what could possibly make them do these things. Parents need to wake up and take care of their disturbed kids.

Aghhhhh Corset Piercings, wow I didn't think I'd ever see those again. I have quite a few friends that have this done (they did it years ago). They heal terribly and leave really nasty scars. They are actually quite pretty when done and kept simple but it seems that body modification has become so mainstream that it's getting tacky.

Not just young people...I was a cutter up until last year and I highly doubt the two things are even closely related...cutting isnt a stylish fad...its a real problem...that just rubbed me the wrong way...not starting anything..

A girl in my high school had it ALL the way down BOTH sides. I saw her a couple months ago & now she has her boobies held together like that too!!! :eek: I almost passed out when I saw that, and I'm a nurse LOL

Both boobs are pierced all the way down in the center, then there's ribbon threaded through like the above pictures. She ties the ribbon really tight & says it's better than any bra. Ay yi yi.
