I injured my leg (terribly) over the weekend and have to have surgery It was horrible! I was having a great time at my sister's picnic on Sunday (the day before Memorial Day). I was jumping on the trampoline and just enjoying watching others in the pool. I felt a slam to my right leg and looked over to the right to see who may have hit me with something. The next thing I knew I was down and wondering what the heck I was looking at in the knee area. I realized what happened when I saw my right foot completely turned to the right at a 90 degree angle! My knee had disclocated!!! (I put it back in myself) To make a long painful story short, I have to have surgery. This is my first serious injury in my entire life. It is shot for now and I am totally out of commission.

So sorry for your injury - that must hurt like heck! That would have been so freaky to see your foot turned at that angle... I have heard so many horror stories about trampolines.... When is your surgery scheduled for? What exactly will they be doing?

Boy that must be so painful. Have to be honest here and tell you I hate those things. My grandson's have one and my granddaughter at 5 got on for fun while her mother was standing there with her and fives minutes later she had a broken foot because of the way she landed. Hope your surgery is a success and you regain full use of you knee. Take care.

I am so sorry to hear that you did that but i no exactly how you felt when you looked down and saw your foot going in the wrong direction. Three years ago i slipped off of the bottom step at my house that was about 3 inches high and just the way my foot landed i snaped my leg in half about 3 inches above the ankle so when i looked down my leg was going forward and my foot was going backwards and then and there i new i was in big trouble. So good luck with your surgery and i will say lots of prayers for your speedy recovery.
