if you get an email from ebay , make sure it starts with your registered name. like dear so and so. if it says ebay customrer, delete it. thats what is says in their info to keep from getting scammed. if mine doesnt say dear (my first and last name) I delete it. thats what happened to me first time i opened an account within 3 days of opening it. I thought someone was trying to get into my money and I turned right around and closed my acct and didnt set up another one from fear till recently. But thinking i'll just close this account to as it makes it too easy to buy things that I wouldnt probably buy or do other wise. |
i too get these emails from paypal. the only sad thing is my hubby to gets them and the pay pal account we have doesnt have his email on it. So we ignore them all. |
That is horrible. I'm sorry to hear....maybe it's a good thing there is a hold on your account so no one else rings anything up. Good luck |
This stuff scares me!! I am glad that it was caught. Everytime I get an email regarding PayPal or eBay, I forward on to them to make sure! I never (EVER) do anything w/ the email. I hate that we have to be so freaked out about things like this.....CRAZY PEOPLE! - JUST STOP IT!! (hee,hee...I feel better now). |
