My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Not creative - with no patience Ok - so I'm not crafty (although I'd LOVE to be) and I have NO patience..... Do you think I can learn to sew???? I now have TWO sewing machines. (both used) And I don't even know how to thread the needle on either one or don't know a THING about sewing bought I got them with the plans on starting to sew my babies clothes and items. So...what do you think the chances are that I'm going to be able to do this??? I've even had fabric bought for MONTHS now!!! LOL |

| It's really easy if you think it is easy. I don't sew very much, but I do make my own clothes for the babies. I find instructions are a little hard that come with the patterns sometimes, so I figure it out on my own. I guess it's hard because I don't know the technical terms they use. I do know that some of the fabric stores hold classes once in a while, you might ask the ones nearest you if they do and when. I find things easier if I don't 'make' it hard, know what I mean?

| Just make a point of setting aside a couple of calm hours with your machine manual and go through each step. It is frustrating at first! But it turns out to be a very relaxing hobby and the more you sew, the more creative you get... |

| Pretty soon you'll be doing it all on the machine! I have every bit of faith that you'll get going on sewing in no time.

| I'm attempting to teach myself right now. Thanks to Angel & Sissy's mom, Jodie, I have TONS of fabric to practice on!!! It's VERY frustrating, though. Everything you can think of to go wrong has gone wrong for me, so far. LOL I've seriously considered throwing the machine in the river once or twice LMAO Good luck

| I want to sew!! , I want to make sooo many things curtains, futon cover, bed spreads. I once recovered a recliner with a seude fabric .it came out ok..althought i stapled it together then ran out of fabric for the arms..lol. my husband feeds my creativity , the chair didnt last long, thank goodness it was a hand me down..lol. I watch the channel Create 133, on cable..i love that channel. the show Sewing with Nancy is informative but I lose patience becasue she is sooo monotone. I am looking for a sewing machine however, I will even take a used one that is still working
