| We recently bought a Dell Latitude. It's officially for my hubby's business (I'm doing the bookkeeping on it), but I'm afraid I use it more for online and writing, lol. It works great -- let's see, we got it in Febuary. We also got the longer life 9 hour battery which made a huge difference when I'm out in about. The settings I have on the computer makes it to where it the 9 hour only lasts about 4-6 hrs, so I can just imagine how short of a time the 6 hour would have lasted. Good luck!

| Lol, that's what I thought at first too -- but now I seem to grab the laptop whenever we head out the door. Every one has WiFi anymore. . . or at least it seems like they do, lol.

No Longer a Member | I'm using a Dell inspiron 1100. I've had it for a few years now. The good thing about it is that it is easy to get replacement parts for. I've had to replace the screen (son threw a toy and it hit it and broke). The hard drive crashed after a couple of years...new one only cost about $50 and just slides right in. It has seen some hard use and keeps coming back up for air, so I can't complain. |

| i have only had dell laptops and i loveee them!!! they work great, but i do suggest the 9 cell battery, i have it and it really comes in handy! i do have to tell you, make sure you get the extended warranty. because i forgot to extend mine, and now if anything goes wrong i have to pay for it. for example, my bella steps on it all the time and broke my keyboard...lol..

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I bought my dtr the Inspiron 1505 last summer. We did not get the larger battery and it only lasts about 2 hours not plugged in. I just had to order a new charger 70.00 as the old one the cord ripped and the first one Cali chewed through. And I had to buy a new battery which was 130.00 as we kept getting the message the battery has reached it's life or something like that. The computer gets a lot of use and we have been happy with it.
