Ok...FREAKING OUT!! Whats up with Melinda being booted off the show!!!???!? :eek: :eek: :eek: I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! I thought that Blake was going home FOR SURE! :eek: Ok...I am mad. I wanted Melinda to win sooo bad, I loved her! Now I am voting for Blake because Jordin just gets on my nerves. I know alot of people like her, and she CAN sing - but those faces she makes just drive me crazy :mad: Oh man, I just can't believe Melinda got sent home!!! :( :eek: :( I swear the show is RIGGED!! |
I'm surprised she got booted and I'm not...Melinda has the voice but I don't think she has the look...she always looked surprised like..."you think I'm good??,when she got complimented and told she was good. I'm sure she is going to get a record deal. |

I just knew that Blake and Jordin would be the final two...I was hoping that Melinda would make it, but it seems that Blake has several famous people that like him. So sad because Melinda deseved to be one of the top two. :( Tammy |
I don't really mind that she got booted, she'll still get a record deal no porblem. I liked Blake and Jordin more anyway, they were my two favorites from the beginning:) And yeah, Jordin's faces are pretty annoying, but she can really sing |
You know I thought American Idol was "live" in Los Angeles which is 5 hours away from me and it hasn't aired here yet, I was getting ready for the show tonight to see who gets kicked off. I'm sad to say but I knew Melinda would get the boot she is a good singer BUT she does not have the look and you know how Hollywood is, it's all about how a person looks. I have been voting for Blake I think he is going to win the whole thing, I can't stand the faces Jordon makes eithier.. I have got to stay off YT when the results show for American Idol are going to air :eek: :p , now I need to find something else to watch tonight since I know Melinda gets kicked off already.. |

WOW, I'm in shock right now!! American Idol doesn't come on for another hour here and I already know what happen. Melinda was the one I thought sure would win. I don't like guys with high singing voices, so I suppose I'll have to vote for Jordin. She sings better anyway. I'm not sure if it's all based on looks. Look at Rubbin Studdard. He had no personality at all either. I'm sad now. |

I have to agree with Simon on this one, Melinda should have been in the final because all her performances have been consistently good which isn't true for Jordin or Blake. |
IMO American Idol has sucked since Carrie won last year Taylor Hick won I mean come on, Chris should have won or at least Katherine, and then this year with sanjia sp? staying on so long and now Melinda getting voted off please I don't see how AI can go another year |
i have watched the show since the first year and it seems to me that the runners up and etc get better deals after it's over than most of the winners. i hate Blake as a singer. i get so tired week after week of his little mouth clicking thing and Micheal jackson moves song after song. i don't like the girl much either. melinda should have the winner or Lakesha. All the little tweeny boppers are voting for BVlake. |
the reason Melinda didn't get to the finals is 1. she doesn;t have the look to market 2. she can sing but she is more of a one style type singer (tina turner older music) she will have a deal but she was to good for the show it almost wasn't fair for the other contestants because she was there. Also i have noticed that the site vote for the worst has a huge impact on the show and i' sure Blake id their new candidate. don't get me wrong because i love Blake he is my favorite. Also when you win Idol you are bound by a contract a bad one at that don't you all remember the ordeal with Kelly Clarkson how she was upset she was tied down to idol i think if you don't win it's actually better because you have more freedom to sign a deal. |
I don't know if I totally agree with the thing about Melinda not having the "look" to market. Look at last year's American Idol. Katherine and Taylor were the top 2 finalists. Who had the better look? And who won? ;) |
As for Melinda's type of music...again, going back to last year. Look at the type of music Katherine McPhee sang, and then take a look back on the type of music that Taylor Hicks sang. A gray headed dude singing old school - but he won ;) :p |
