Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | ? Anyone Else Paint As A Hobby Thought I would ask if others do painting as a hobby? I just came across this one that I saved in my computer of wall clock that I cut from wood and painted wanted to share with you all. I did this one for our kids and grandchildren years back, prior to my cataract removal surgery, hopefully one day I can paint again. Lord willing I shall I found it to be one of the most relaxing hobbies I ever encountered, I also taught Jack to paint and he did beautiful paintings. I am going to try to help him do again this summer. It is great therapy too. If I can find the pictures of the Wall Clock Santa with Cocker Spaniel, Chipmunk cookie jar lid that I painted I will come back and post it too. Would love to see if others like to paint too maybe you can share pictures of your paintings too, thanks. Patti |

| Your a very talented painter...that display is very good....I wish I could paint like that....I've been dabbling w/ one stroke painting, it's great for me because it doesn't require a lot of talent

| I took a 6 week course in water color awhile back and this is what I did. I haven't painted since, but am planning on doing water color pictures of Yorkies. That's the reason I wanted to learn how to paint. These are my very first attempts at painting. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...watercolor.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ictures004.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ictures003.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ictures002.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ictures001.jpg |

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Thanks for sharing These are all great thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing your Yorkie water color paintings Yorkiedaze, do you use acrylics on them? marcerella02 did you take any pictures of your pastel drawings, maybe you could share some here. jp4m2 Oh, my does Jack love the one stroke painting, once he got started there was no nothing else only thing is he wipes out our brushes in no time, but he said that is how Donna Dewberry says to do load em all the way up and golly does he ever. I have seen her do on the tv and really think she is a fine lady. What a talent she has in One Stroke. I am praying that Jack will get back to painting this summer and that I can help him. One thing I have always said, "isn't it wonderful to have a hobby," be it painting, sewing, any hand work or even gardening, to use our minds and hands to do creations is truely a gift from the Lord. Wonderful thank each of you for sharing. Shadow you may not paint but let me tell you, your sewing is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, Baby Blessing is so lucky to have one of your creations. Hey everyone, wishing you a wonderful day and be it no matter what you are doing, hope you enjoy. Patti Last edited by Baby Blessing; 05-10-2007 at 09:57 AM. |

| WOW you are all so creative I pretend that I am and have a lot of random "artwork" I've done all over my apartment. My newest "hobby" is collecting old tables and making collages with my new best friend modgepodge hehe |
