| Cat Diagnoses??? Please! My Boyfriends Mom has a cat which is very sick right now. The cat is a female and named Fluffy. Fluffy is completly limp right now like a rag doll. She hasn't been eating for 5 days now and been Vomiting for 5 days. Me and my Boyfriend are like TAKE HER TO THE VET!!!!!!!! But his Mom wont because her New Husband who she met like only a year ago, He used to be a Vet. He says Fluffy might have eaten something poisonous or has a huge Hairball inside her. And thats all hes done. He hasn't tried anything...Because since he used to be a vet..Apparently he knows everything.....God Im so mad. I said give her some water or some soft cat food you know......Just to give her some strength.... God I feel so bad for Fluffy.... Last edited by Bird; 05-01-2007 at 01:04 PM. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | oh that poor cat - no animal should go five days without food or be limp like that...I hope she makes it.. judging by the condition of that poor cat & his reasoning ...maybe that's why he USED to be a vet ?? |

| Sounds like either bowel obstruction or kidney or liver failure. Hope its not another sick kitty from tainted food. Please let us know how kitty does!

| She didnt eat the recalled food did she? my mother inlaws cat did before they knew about it and it wouldnt eat or drink etc and got really sick vomitting etc. They took her to the vet and found out that that was what it was. They went home and sure enough the food they had was recalled. You might want to take that into consideration and have them have the vet look into it. my mother inlaw made her vet keep her cat til it was better which was like a week. |
