Thank godness I seen this post. i love horror movies and was going to rent this 1 one out, now i dont think ill bother.

I have not see this and most likley won't i used to love horror movies but the have become so sick and twisted i can no longer watch them. I see the Ring when i was pregnant and when you are prego you already have very weird dreams well needless to say this movie has haunted me ever since it was very sick to me and i still have nightmares about the friggen girl crawling up my stairs!! I also was stupid enough to watch the grudge and that one is just sadistic i really think there is something wrong with people that they can think of crap like that! I did just watch Silent Hill and it was sick but it wasn't as bad as the others. i'm not really sure i have even seen the commercials for this movie i try not to even see them anymore.what is this movie about in general? Is it bad because it is gory or bloody or is it sadistic?

Someone else asked this too. I don't know what the actual "plot" was. The gore doesn't phase me...woo...fake blood and limbs. BUT there was plenty of it there for sure. It's just really disturbing...think crazy, deformed killers, and every form of killing and sexual acts you can imagine with children thrown in as victims and then it being shown.

I started watching this on HBO last week and turned it off after the first killing spree. I shudder to think what they did to the baby.

OMG!! This movie literally made me sick! I was home from work one day and I saw it on Direct TV. I decided to watch it (since I LOVE horror movies ... in particular, I love movies about vampires, zombies and werewolves lol). Anyway, that scene where they burn the father and then that nasty creatures first rapes that young girl, then what he does to her older sister ... I can't even type it! I literally ran in the bathroom and threw up!!

I didn't watch the rest of the movie that day because I got so sick but I was COMPELLED to watch it again (but not from the beginning) to see what happened to the poor family. I was so upset during the whole movie and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone. It was disgusting.

PS - Even though I KNOW it's fake and only a movie, it REALLY upset me. It was so disturbing.

Yep, that was the scene I happened to walk in on. Then my husband kept trying to reassure me by giving me updates and finally I was like "I DON'T WANT TO KNOW!"

Good decision. I regret watching the end another day but I couldn't get that off my mind. I had to find out what happened to that poor family (especially the baby). It was probably the worst, most digusting and upsetting movie I have EVER seen. It was so awful that I actually had nightmares from it.

i know how you feel about wanting to watch the end of these sick movies we desperatly pray for a happy ending something that will justify the sickness but they won't even give us that anymore. for some reason i watched the ring 2 and i stopped just before the end in the place that was happy i knew if i went any farther i would be tormented again i still have no idea how that movie ends but thats how it will stay i have made peace lol. i refuse to watch the grudge2 i have stayed away from it. i did watch Dark water it was ok not as horrible but i will tell you this the original movie that was made was way more scary!

i will say after the ring came out i was so scared to watch anything it was funny because that movie the village OMG i just had to see it i don't know why and i made my hubby sit on the couch with me i was so worked up i about gave myself a heart attack before it started i about broke hubby's hand lol. But it was so great that it was the stupidest movie i have ever seen hahahahahaha!

I saw the Ring 2 (and the first one) and luckily the ending is happy! Basically what happens is the mother of the little boy (I forgot her name) ends up in the well and starts to climb out. Then the little girl comes in the well and tries to chase her (it was so freaky lolol). The mother gets to the top, closes the lid to the well and the little girl is locked inside forever. I like that part because as she closes the well, the little girl screams (in a really freaky voice) "Mommmmmmmmmy" and then the mother says, "I'm not your fu*kin mommy". I was so glad to see a happy ending for a change!

I have never been so disturbed by a show in my life it's the way she moved and her face i think that got me and horror shows with kids in them freak me out. about a week after we seen this show (in the movie theater way more scary) my son had messed with his tv and about 3 am it flipped on and it was the snow screen it also was full blast i thought i was going to have a massive heart attack i couldn't even get out of bed i was so terrified. I am not a wuss by OMG i thought the little Beast girl was coming to kill me lol it happened 3 nights in a row before we figured out what he did to the tv lol

OMG!! LOL!! I'm so sorry to laugh because I can imagine how scared you must have been but that's funny!! I would have died right on the spot lolol

I can laugh about it now but i kid you not it was darn near 7 days after we seen it and i really almost did die from heart failure lol i was also prego so it was intensified by a million. I think thats the biggest reason this movie freaked me out so much was cause i was prego
