I didn't like it either. It might as well have been a documentary on carnage. I give it two thumbs down.

OK, I did leave myself a little open for that one.

It wasn't like I loved, it as much as [Goodfellas, Old School, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas], I liked it because I expected WAY worse, as in typical horror. I'll agree It's sad that generations have to be spooked by something worse as time goes on.

You're right. The "horror" movies now are just filled with a lot of carnage and all that stuff. I love the classics. If you ask me, I rather scream than gag.

Ditto. I'd rather watch a movie and have a good scare than watch a movie and get sick to my stomach. Blood and gore doesn't scare me ... ooh, wow a fake limb, yikes check out the fake bloody hand. I love vampire, zombie and werewolf movies! That stuff is fake; so it doesn't bother me.

But I hate movies that show women (especially young girls/children) being violated. Stuff like that upsets me and makes me cringe ... because that DOES happen in real life. Women every day are raped and abused and seeing that in a movie -- especially knowing that people are making money off of it -- just pisses me off.

Horror movies aren’t really horror movies anymore. I mean, they’re not really scary as much as disturbing. I don’t like movies that mess with your mind like that. My best friend made me go see the first “Saw” movie. We went to the 9:30 show, so it was after 11 when we got out. Let’s just say that for the first time ever (even as a kid) I was so disturbed by a movie that I slept with the lights on. (This was before I had Sadie for comfort) I just don’t get into movies like that.
