I don't watch AI but that kid is only 17 ?? never heard him sing but I guess it was an AI ratings thing to keep him on the show that long - he sure has a beautiful smile...but why would he cry so hard ? He's famous now even if he didn't make the finals - isn't that the whole point ?

I agree. I'm SOOOO glad he's gone but I felt sorry for him because he was crying so hard. But honestly this is a singing competition and it wasn't fair for other very talented singers (like Stephanie Edwards) to go before him. Also, I felt like he was getting a bit cocky and he had no right to be! All these idols need to remember that even though Simon may criticize them but HE (along with Randy and Paula) put them in the top group! Now it's up to America to vote them off!

My favorites are Melinda, Jordin and Blake. I also like Lakisha but I don't think she's very versatile.

Ok, I don't want to be the rebel here but I actually liked Sanjaya! I loved him in his audition and in Hollywood week. He can sing, I just think he doesn't know how to use his voice yet....If that makes any since?? I think he sounds like Micheal Jackson. Hopefully when he gets older he'll know how to use that voice and also know how to pick the right songs to show off that voice I think you have to give Americans some credit....I don't think we kept Sanjaya on the show because of votefortheworst.com, I think the majority of us truley liked him and hoped he'd show us what we seen in the audition.
I thought Chris Richardson was going home last night. He sings through his nose!

Chris has started to grow on me a little. He was singing nasally because that is how Rascal Flatts sings so I understood the nasally part. I think him or Phil will be the next even though Phil was one on my favorites at the first.

I think Sanjaya would make a great model. He has a beautiful smile.

I could NOT stand him anymore...I watch every week with my Mom and he annoys us to death. Especially this week, anyone can sing "Something to Talk About." He was literally talking through the song, you don't need talent to sing that song. Yeah, he MAY have talent but it is going to take him awhile to get a good singing voice or learn what songs he should sing.

In my opinion, he is WAY too emotional...I am beginning to think he is gay because of his voice and how emotional he gets. Sorry, I just do not like him It's not fair to the other good singers that he stayed in it this long and it makes the show look bad

I absolutely love Blake!!!!! I think he is VERY versatile with his voice and has a lot of talent. I hope he wins or is at least in second place.

this kid has been the talk of all the gossip columns i read and i was so tired of reading about him since i havent even watched one idol this year

i think the last idol i watched was when ruben studdard was on and he won i think and i still to this day loveeee ruben studdard and kelly clarkson

and i just adore that carrie underwood, shes pretty, she not skanky in her clothes and she just sings wonderful

We were absolutely estactic to see Sanjaya (sp) go home!!! YAY!!!

I could NOT believe that Blake was in the bottom 3!!! Whoa....I thought he did really well.....he always does and he looks good too! (hee,hee)

My DH thought Lakisha would go home, my daughter and I were hoping it would be Sanjaya (finally).

Did you notice how they kept showing Melinda and Chris.....I wonder if those two will be the final two? Course, DH says that they just do that to keep you guessing.

I think Lakisha can sing, but I think it has been the last two shows, she hasn't gotten good raves.....I wonder why?

Melinda can sing...I see her making it to the end. So can Jordan, but I like Melinda better (I think). Chris can really sing too, but I think I like Blake more.

Those four should definitely be in the final 4!
