My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | The flooring is in!!! YAY! So we have been finsihing our basement and I was able to convince my hubby to go with laminate wood. FINALLY he agreed. (he thought it was so I could LET my babies pee on the floor, noooooooooo its to prevent carpet from getting ruined from accidents if they happen, and they will) ANYWAYS - the flooring is down!!! LOVE it! Its beautiful! So why do hubby and I find it humorous to play with the babies down there, and run back and forth (its huge) and let them chase us, while they can't get any traction and see them slide and run all funny?!!!! Thats been our entertainment lately And they have a blast and get all silly and crazy, but its so slippery they can't get any traction! I'd love to figure out how to post a video from my camera! | I love watching Tatum run around in our house (we have all laminate wood floors except the tile in the bathrooms). It's hilarious to see how she tries to calculate when to put the brakes on to keep from slamming into the wall. She's gotten really good at it!

There are SO many different brands, qualities and prices. You can get a lower priced one that's still a "good one". Our were done when we built our new house so I honestly can't remember the price. Ours is Armstrong brand. Check at Home Depot or Lowe's to get an estimate or just about any other flooring stores. Sorry that I can't remember what ours was.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Ok, but remember this is a work in progress and we are far from done! There are tools all over from hubby working down there , so excuse the mess! The living room area we did in this laminate was about 850 sq feet. I couldn't get it all in the pics I tried to take different shots. We are going shopping for molding this weekend. We are going with Cedar. |
