By the time I get done writing this message 100 baby seals will have been clubbed or shot in Canada's seal hunt.

It is too late to do anything this year but we can still protest and boycott Canadian fish.

This is so very sad. Many babies have already lost their lives due to what some people call global warming. If it continues they will be on the endangered species list.

That is extremely sad. I thought that advocates were still going out and spray painting the babies...have they stopped?

Why on earth would they kill those beautiful babies? Please tell me it's not for their fur?

Their has been so much slaughtering of animals this year. The dolphins, the wolves, the seals.

And all for completely stupid reasons!!

I haven't heard anything about that in a couple of years. The Humane Society of the United States is monitoring the hunt and reporting back at their web site. Last year the hunters (off-season fishermen) tried to ram their small boats with their big ships. They are not happy about us interfering with their easy money.

I cant believe theis sh*t is even legal. This makes me sick!!! I dont wear anything made of animal skin....I try really hard not to even buy products tested on the poor creatures and sometimes I even think about going veggie.
The world is turning into one huge suckfest lately.

they say its not for the fur its cos they breed to much and they eat all the fish so they club them to keep the numbers under control, what a load of s**t

they even arrange seal clubbing weekends for cold hearted twisted nutters, so thay can leave the office and go away for a fun (there words) weekend of baby seal clubbing

id like to go away on a weekend of clubbing those sickcos and id even provide my own club, see how they like it

its not just seal fur you have to worry about as i saw something on the tv a while back about the countrys who eat dog and cat, they also use the fur of them and some of it ends up in the usa and uk plus other places, they went to a market and bought a pair of boots that had what looked like a fake fur trim on the top and they were only a few pounds really cheap so theres no way you would even think it was real fur and after they tested it it turned out to be DOG FUR with the skin still attached
