| after pet food recall, i am scared for my own vitamins which vitamin brand is safe? i take a multi-vitamin and fish oil supplement which companies are bad? i tried to look online but i can't find info on it which companies you recommend? i am taking Life Fitness multi vitamin and Nature Made Fish oil .... thanks!

| I know what you mean about product safety ..every thing is becoming suspect... there is a independent lab that checks vitamins for active ingredients & if they have contaminants in them... http://www.consumerlab.com/ there is a fee for 1 yr. it's $27...they check vitamin E for mercury, PCB's & other contaminants...if you take a lot of vitamins or know a friend to split the yearly cost it might be worth it ..their is a 30 day fee for $10 but I'm not sure if it's for looking up just one product or more than one....
