| carpet dying?? im was wondering if anyone has ever used dye on your carpet to repair spots? i had been using the upstairs as a dog room, i have the crates set up with toys and such , well we are still working on potty training and if i leave the door to upstairs open gidget will run up there and used the bathroom..well..i went to clean it up and i think i used too much bleach this time and the beige carpet now has some peach spots. so i just left it alone and didnt tell my husband (we rent this house by the way) in my opinion it wasnt that bad and the carpet wasnt perfect to start with. so last night something funny happened with our electrical nothing in our bed room is working so my husband was looking all around for the problem and came upon my carpet spots and flipped on me. so he said he knows a guy that will dye the carpet and i was thinking of getting the stuff and doing it my self. has anyone ever done that? what does it cost? did it work? was it easy to match? |
