Yes, that's really an elevator...it only goes up one floor from the basement to the upstairs but it sure comes in handy when I have a lot of groceries to bring up! I had the sign made so no one would open the door thinking it was a closet and accidentally end up in the basement!

That's it for my rooms...other than the bedroom and 2 bathrooms...and we're starting a room addition, hopefully next week.

Everyone sure knows how to decorate and you sure have beautiful homes. I've been without DSL for two weeks now and am supposed to have it back Tuesday night, so in the meantime, it takes too darn long to upload or I'd show you mine.

Thank you...we just gutted and remodeled the whole house. I love the W/D but if you ever get them don't get the pedestals they sit on...they wabble around too much on them. We just took them back and my husband built a wooden, permanant pedestal for them to sit on...it's soooo much better!

lol even if it wasn't an elevator it would be a cute sign there i would put something like that on my closet just for giggles lol

Oh, one last picture...this is my view straight out my front door...it made all the work bearable, we'd get tired, go sit on the deck with a cup of coffee and leave all the 'ugly' behind us!

I wanted blck granite as well but my pocket book couldn't afford the $4500.00 for it lol so i settled for black famicka. I love your counter tops they are beautiful!

How old are your boys? Our son/daughter-in-law are doing their youngest son's room with black bunk beds that have diamond plate trim, blue walls, white trim, some red and yellow. I think they're using the colors/theme from the movie 'cars'...he loves cars! It's a cool looking room but I don't have any pictures of it.
