My mom got my ears pierced when I was a baby. But I got my cartilidge around 13 and 2 more (1 on each ear) around 14. The thing I did that was bad was I let my friend pierce my tongue when I was 15

luckily it never got infected. Then I went on to get my belly button and nose pierced. The funny thing is I only kept the regular holes for the ears and the belly ring. I let the rest close.

When I was 16 my mom took my sister (13) to the mall and they both got their ears pierced. They called me a chicken because I was scared to have someone shoot a gun through my lobes. So, I finally gave in and had it done.
When I was 45 (after the divorce) I gave myself a b-day present of a tattoo. Mother was mortified that I had scarred myself like that and not to tell anyone in the family because it would make her look bad. I should have shaved my head!!

I would get it done while she is a baby. I waited untill My Daughter was 6. She wanted it done because one of her friends had it done. I got both ears done at the same time but it still scared her and she wouldnt let me put earrings in and now I think her holes have closed

This thread really does bring back memories. My mother and I pierced ours at the same time when I was 13 with a needle, but no ice. My Aunt just pinched our ears for a few seconds. Can't say that helped much. I got my second hole when my oldest daughter (6 at the time) wanted hers pierced, but she wanted me to do it with her. My cartilidge got pierced because my oldest daughter (20 at this point) wanted to do it. I went first then she chickened out. I couldn't believe she was afraid since she already had her tongue and belly button pierced. The tongue stud fell out in the sink and down the drain. THANK GOODNESS. I told my youngest daughter that she could pierce her belly button at 16. Her dad was really not in agreement, but we over ruled him. I don't really care for any facial piercings.

I have 3 is one ear and 2 in the other. lol She said they accidently pierced on ear 3 times because they weren't sure if it pierced or not so I have 2 really close holes nxt to each other. Then I got one top part of my ear done when I was 15, and it closed so I got it again in the other ear. It closed. I got my belly peirced and I still have that and love it!

I got my first holes done when I was like 6 or 7.. Hurt like crazy and got each hole done like two months apart!! LOL So then when I was in 8th grade, I did 2nd and 3rd holes myself and their straight... Did a 4th hole but it was too much clutter so I took them out.. Got one cartilage done in 7th grade and the other in 9th.... lol got my belly button done in 7th grade and my tongue done in 10th.. took my tongue out for surgery and it wouldn't go back in.. so i got it redone at the end of 11th grade .. I hardly wear it anymore except to bed.. It looks tacky at this age (I think) but I still want to hole open cuz i went through pain with that baby and i dont want to just lose it..lol im dumb... I want to go for more tattoos now..
