I just got home...Bev's daughter is there and her granddaughter just got there, so Judy and I came home. That is the poorest excuse for a hospital and we have not heard the results of the MRI yet...or anything else. Her pain is lessened, but on a scale of 1-10, it's an 8, and Bev isn't a complainer. The pain is the worst in her right shoulder and left groin area. No one has a clue what's going on. She is on morphine and if she is still, the pain is tolerable, but if she or someone moves her, it is excruciating. That's kind of how Mom was during the last couple weeks of her life. I just don't know. Bev has had health problems for years, but this is all something new. Thanks for your prayers! I will let you know if I hear more!

We still don't know what's causing the pain. The MRI showed nothing and they are just guessing, rather than further testing. They say it's probably a rotor cuff tear in her shoulder...but it didn't show up on the MRI. If it is that, why is this terrible pain in the groin happening at the same time? It hurts so bad they couldn't get a catheter in her bladder because she can't move her legs apart. There's gotta be a connection since the pain started in both areas at the same time and we don't feel comfortable at all with the rinky dink hospital. If Bev could make the trip, we'd take her somewhere else. Thanks for your prayers!
