| I got a tattoo on Saturday I'm so excited. It's a real beauty. It's on my back and he did a great job. It hurt like he.., but I wanted it. I just retired and that was one of my many. many presents to myself. Its a rose on the left side of my back and then the stem, with leaves and some curlicues go into one of those symmetrical lower back tattoos. Nobody can see it when I'm dressed, which is how I want it. I have another one on my stomach. You don't always want people to think of you as the "tattoo type." Life is fun! Judy |

| What a cool retirement present to yourself! I have always wanted a little rose tattoo but never got up the courage. Can you take a pic?

| thats great, i love when people come to my husband and get tattoos that they have a lways wanted but then when i get these young ones who want tattooes whats cool for the second i cringe cause its sad, it doesnt go away, but if its something you appreciate then you will always love it, i have a half back piece done by my husband for my son who passed, i am working on my whole back but i havent gotten that far yet so for now im halfway there, but i have a memorial and a set of huge wings and my sons actual foot prints from the hospital, and i love it, not a day goes by that i dont admire it and love my hubbys work. i hope one day to get his portrait done by kat off of miami ink but then again my husband has started kearning portraits so i may just have him do it, it would have sentimental value. ok man i tend to get off the subject. but congrats thats so awesome, hey if you want it you will take the pain trust me. post some pics i would love to see it

| I'll pick up one of those disposable digital cameras, but it takes time to get it developed. I'll post pix soon. I need new pix of Max anyway. His is shameful. He looks so messy. It's from right before his first haircut. I think a good digital camera may be one of the retirement presents I have to buy myself, now that I think of it. Judy |

| Dear Srephluvsangel: I'm so sorry for your loss. Tattoos are a wonderful memorial for him, and how much more special that his father is creating them. Judy |

| AHH tattoos are sooo addicting. I don't know about everyone else, but as soon as I got my first one, I totally wanted a second. I have a pretty big floral pattern on my side and I picked it so that no one would be able to see it unless I wore a bathing suit or something. I definitely would like to see pics of yours as well!

| Hey - Welcome to the club! I'm 49 and got my first one a few months ago. It's something I've always said I was going to do and finally just went for it. It's small and hidden, but what the heck. My 14 year old son thought it was too cool |
