Weve got a blizzard heading toward us
 

The weather news casters are saying we could get up to 14 inches. I dont know how much of that might be hype but I am headed to the grocery store to stock up. Its supposed to start snowing tonight

It's supposed to hit us tomorrow afternoon/night. They're calling for up to 10 inches here!!

I'll just stay home with Bud and be cozy in my pj's watching
tv all day and of course checking in on YT. That's a treat as long as we don't loose power.:confused:

you better get to the grocery store and stock up. good luck. i think we might get a little of that but of course it was suppose to snow here three times and yet to do so.

Oh my gosh... no thank you! It was really cold here for about a month and I couldn't take that. I can't imagine getting 10 inches of snow now! :eek: Maybe you'll have a white :love:'s day.

I just got back from the grocery store. They are saying it should start somewhere around 7 tonight and continue till Tuesday night accumulating up to 14 inches. Also, the wind gusts are suppose to reach 40 mph.

I sure hope the schools close if we get that much so I don't have to drive that bus through all of it. You just never know with our school...LOL

First snow of the season here - 10 to 15 inches possible - :jump28ib: . Can't wait to see what Roxy and the cats think of it. My camera broke last nite so I guess I better figure out how to use the camcorder I got for xmas :p .

Were to get up to 10 inches, starting sometime tomorrow late afternoon. :eek: I like small amounts of snow, but only if I can stay inside and watch it fall.:snow: Rudys never seen that much snow, we've only had an inch or two so far. I live in Central Illinois and last night they said rain changing to snow and up to 8 inches. Got up this AM and now they are up to 12 inches.

Chachi- I'll let you know how mush we can send your way. But I got to go stock up on snow storm supplies now. It does look gloomy outside but nothing here yet.

That's just great...ICE!!! Just heard on 13 news that we could get up to 16 inches. Another 2 inch increase. I sure hope not!!! Chachi, where in Indiana are you? I think I knew this before, but can't remember. I'm in Frankfort.

We're just a little over an hour apart. All I heard was the increase in inches of snow...I must have went brain dead or shock when they talked about ice :eek: . Of course, with you're south of me, we may not get much of the ice...I hope not.

I'm between Ann Arbor and Detroit. So far not too much hype and I haven't heard anything about ice. They are saying a good amt of accumulation, but we'll see... :)

They don't know what the heck it is going to do here. They said rain but it is snowing like crazy right now.

We are getting this same storm, We still have lots of snow now from the storm the other day. Drive way is a mess. We went and stocked up on Grocerys , water, candles and I have my oil lamps filled and ready to use.
Our water has been only coming on for a few hours every day, for over a week now. so when it does we rush to refill water containers, flush toilets and clean. Shower and all that good stuff before it goes out again. I guess its been so cold that our Water pump freezes and dont come on again untill the warmest part of the day. Today its warmer and its been on all day So I caught up on Laundry took a nice hot bubble bath, gave the dogs a bath and Made a huge pot of Chili and a jug of Iced tea. So I guess we are ready. Year before last we had a bad ice storm The electric was off for over a week in some places , Ours was off 4 days, Our oven runs off of Propane so we still had heat from that, a Lot of our neighbors lived in their vans just to stay warm, we offered them to stay with us, but they didnt. It was Christmas and I was able to cook the whole dinner and we ate off paper plates. so we had it a lot better then most. We might get stranded, but we will have some heat.Both my daughters calle dto day and asked if me hubby and the dogs wated to stay with them. I said No. Because if the electric does go off we will have some heat and they wont because theirs is all electric, I told them they would be better off coming out here to the country with us.

We're getting here in Mass too! I think starting tomorrow night into Wednesday night...we are SUPPOSED to get 8 to 16 inches...of course this IS New England so you never really know how much you are getting until the storm it over!! LOL! Everyone stay safe and warm!

I live in Eastern ky and they say we are going to have rain changing to ice,up to 3 inches and then changing to snow into wednesday. Wish i could plan for a extra day off work but i can almost see work from where i live...lol

Do you think its ok to have a yorkie out in the snow?i dont think Bizkit has every been in the snow

We have had a crazy Colorado winter this year... I know people think we get a lot of snow... but Denver is actually a desert. But, we are breaking records right and left... we have been measuring in feet this year. This is the first week it has been nice since Christmas and my yard is still completely covered... and we are supposed to be getting it again =( If my yorkies couldn\'t manage the snow there would be weeks before they could go outside :rolleyes: But, mine do great... they just run out and come running back in when their business is done!

Oh Lisa! Be safe! Stock up on everything, make sure you have plenty of wood to burn, stock up on batteries. I\'ll be thinking about you!!!

Anything Yet? Hope everyone affected keeps power. When they predict snow for us, I fill the bathtubs to use to flush toilets, since we have a well- no electricity means no water. And I fill up pitchers and stuff for drinking, cooking, etc.

Funny story: I teach at 8am, 10am, 12pm and 2pm on Wednesdays. My boss suggested that I stay at work Tuesday night so I would be on time for work since they are predicting so much snow! See why I\'m looking for a new job?
