| THe interview went very well I thought! She asked me when I could come to NC for an in-person interview (I told her I would need a week's notice) then she asked me if I would need 2 weeks notice for my current job and I said yes. She asked my salary requirements and didn't even flinch when I gave them to her. Hmmmmmm......said she needed to speak with the Hiring Director and would call me back. BUT.....while I was on the phone with her I got a message about another job I applied for wanting to set up an interview! YAY! Now I need to call them |

| Yea! I'm glad the first interview went well. RTP has some great places to work. I do business with several of them. Good luck with choosing and being chosen. |

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Wow, that DOES sound encouraging to be discussing visits, salary and notice! Good luck. Is the other job in Alaska, by any chance? If so, take that. You'll save on dogsitters.

| I Love Thor Donating Member | I'm glad to hear that it went well!!! I hope you get it!!!!! It sounds as though she liked you! I wish I still lived in NC, then you could stay with us and bring Simone and Hallie and they could have a fun day with me and my gang while you were at the interview! |

| They called me and asked me to come for an in person interview on the 26th! But they aren't going to pay for the trip and since it's not my dream job I just can't justify spending $250 on a plane ticket and boarding for the monkeys (another $100) for a job that I'm not 100% sure about. I thank you for all your good thoughts, they worked |

| I hate that they wouldn't spring for the airfare. But -Onward & Upward The RIGHT job is just around the corner |

I've got an idea. You can go full-time as a YT monitor, and we'll hold weekly bake sales, raffles and not-so-hidden auctions to pay your salary. But you'll have to move to Alaska so I can interview Simon and Hallie. I'll pay their airfare!
