Got a call about 1/2 hour about from our heating guy. He should be out shortly. My BIL does some work with him and came over earlier today. It is definitely something in the ignition switch. He said it was dirty and he cleaned it. It is an electric ignition. It will fire up and run for a few minutes and then it goes out again. There is a part that needs to be replaced, but my BIL doesn't have any parts. I'm sure it probably needs cleaning , hubby says he hasn't changed the filters this year It just figures it waits till the absolutely coldest day out to not work!! Supposed to be below zero again tonight with highs in the low single digits again tomorrow with snow as well!! I wonder if all the schools will be cancelled again?!

| Well, our guy got here around 9:00pm last night. He cleaned everything out and within 15 minutes, the temp was up to 68 degrees. He thought the controller might need to be replaced, but didn't want to replace it until he was sure since the temp started to rise. About 4 hours later, temps started dipping again and we've been holding steady at about 63. So, another call this morning to replace the controller. Maybe someone today it will be comfortable in this house. The girls are staying in their flannel jammies and we're getting lots of use out of our blankies!!!! At least we have a space heater today, though the office is not large and is filled with stuff, so setting it up someplace safe is interesting!!!!

| It's Brrrrrrr over here on my side of the state this morning. All of the schools are closed. I hope you get it fixed soon. Nothing like going on a camping trip with kids inside the house!!!! Think warm thoughts. We have a High E furnace and for the exhaust there's a plastic pipe that goes out of the wall. There's a screen in it to keep the critters from going in. That screen will build up ice because of the vapor in the exhaust. It froze up 2 yrs ago and hubby was too busy delivering LP Gas to come home and clean it out to get some heat in the house. I took a hammer to the plastic pipe and when he got home the house was nice and warm and he had to go out and fix the plastic exhaust pipe. I fixed the furnace....
