Consumer Reports Says McDonald's Coffee Beats Starbucks! Heheheh. Just had to laugh at this one, since Seattle is home to Starbucks and all... When Consumer Reports magazine compared coffee from mega-chain Starbucks with java from three fast-food restaurants, the surprising winner was ? McDonald?s. The magazine had trained tasters sample a medium cup of black coffee from McDonald?s, Burger King, Dunkin? Donuts and Starbucks, and found the best cup of joe under the golden arches. McDonald?s coffee "beat the rest,? according to Consumer Reports. It was "decent and moderately strong. Although it lacked the subtle top notes needed to make it rise and shine, it had no flaws.? As for Starbucks, its coffee "was strong, but burnt and bitter enough to make your eyes water instead of open.? http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2...9/102949.shtml

I never could aquire a taste for Starbucks (too strong, too bitter, waste of money for me!) and I'll drink McDonald's if I have to but in my book...nothing beats a good, home brewed cup of Folger's!

I like mcdonald's coffee a lot and it's only like a buck. It would be nice if a little french fanilla or whip cream could top it off though...

I don't drink coffee and hubby only has maybe 1 cup in the mornings, but some of my friends do drink coffee, and like to go to McDonalds for breakfast simply because they do have good coffee. I just order hot water and have my own tea bag that I like.

| Doesn't McDonald's serve Seattle's Best coffee? The ones in Oregon do. I hate McDonald's coffee - I think Dunkin Donuts is the best... but the Starbucks Frappuccino has them all beat
