I usually watch every night (my time) from 9:00PM-11:00PM (just before my bedtime) and I don't see many animals - I must say.

Usually however, I see many more at about 8:00AM-10:00AM (my time).

I would think more animals would be moving around in the early morning, but not so - it seems they move more in the late afternoon! That's how much I know about wildlife! :rolleyes:

I too, have become totally addicted to Africam - I need to GET A LIFE!!! LOL!

That is soooooo cool!! I haven't seen anything yet but a few birds nosediving in the watering hole but the sounds are amazing!

There were two little birds dive-bombing into the water when I first turned it on, but they flew away really quick. I swear, the animals don't want me to see them! I haven't seen anything cool yet. :rolleyes:

I saw a video of the elephant that walked through about noon today (nighttime in Africa) - but didn't see it live. :(

They have been having rain so the camera is fuzzy and not focused or pointed to the water hole. It will be daylight in a few hours, hopefully someone will fix the camera! :)

OOOOH this is cool! I can't wait till it's light out so I can see something! I think I just heard a baboon! Other than that it's just a really loud bunch of insects and frogs.

Yes, the regular Africam watchers that post on the forum think that was a "noise" was a baboon. I have no idea - it was an unusual sound!

Unfortunately, I rarely see animals at the watering hole when just gets daylight over there - but who knows, maybe we will see something soon. It gets daylight over there when it is about 9:00PM central U.S. time - so it won't be long till it's daylight - I hope someone comes to fix the camera!!!

you got me addictied to this and I have hooked my co-workers too!! My 7 year old LOVES it, he comes running in first thing in the am and gets dressed watching the animals, we got to watch monkeys and gazels this morning!!

You are welcome! I'm completely addicted too - I keep it open on my desktop all the time and when there is movement, it usually catches my eye.

Oh Oh, the camera is zooming in on some sort of deer-like animals - not sure what they are, kinda far away.

I'm just blown away by the colors today!!!

On the Africam forum, someone's signature says:

I was told that is the lodge there and they take the guests out for "safari viewing" every morning and evening. Wouldn't it be TOO COOL to stay there!!!

I think they're too big for Impalas but they sure are pretty.
