We have lots of patients out there - I know our Moderator Kim (simonandhallie) is really sick with the flu :( :( and so many others are under the weather - Peanut, Lexi's mom ....Ellen (Dragonfly), yougetthesmiles etc - PLEASE come check in with us so we know how you're feeling ....and sending out get well wishes to you all :) and Connie - a special one to you for your mom - |
I have a kill-me sore throat for the past 2 days and it isn't getting better no matter what I do. Seems like it might turn in to a fever. duh. |

Hope everyone feels better soon!!!! This is the time of year for everything to hit! YUCK! My DH had strep throat last week and is still on meds for it. We have all been "icky" for the last two weeks - thankfully, my daughter and I haven't gotten to the point of being really sick - we just have that "blah" feeling. I think it is the weather??!! |
I have have a sore throat and My Husband has had the stomach flu. It sounds like it is going around right now. |
Well, after a much dreaded trip to the dr. I have the beginnings of pneumonia and am currently taking Prednisone, Antibiotics and Tylenol with Codeine to sleep at night. And at the same time working b/c I can't find anyone here to help me with my classes and meetings I had scheduled. Lovely, huh? |
I was sick last week but feel better now! I hope all who are sick feel better soon. I know some 80 degree weather would help alot of us feel better physically and mentally |

So far, so good for me! Prayers and get well wishes going out to all that are under the weather. This is a horrible time of the year to not feel well. And special prayers for all that are suffering from things worse than a cold or the flu or dreaded "bugs". I sincerely hope that a quick recovery is on its way. Stay warm, (unless your are too far south to be cold, and in that case, stay cool ;) ). Get well, everyone:) . |

Great thread, V!! Seems like everyone is having colds, etc. ... not me ... I refuse!! :p Will certainly be saying little prayers for all those who are sick. "Nurse V" .... I don't understand why men are so stubborn, but they are! When my Mom would get that mindset, we would just remove her choices! Boy, did that ever get that Indian's dander up! :rolleyes: Then, she would relent ... grudgingly but cooperative! She was a firm believer in Vick's! She liked to rub a little dot between her eyes and another little dot under her nose when she would be having days like your husband. I don't know if there was really any medicinal benefit or if it was simply a decision that was her's, but it always made her feel a little better!! ;) I always keep you and your husband in my prayers!! Hope he feels better soon. Hugs! |
Ohhhhhh.... sick as in unwell and here I thought you had a gross joke to share or something. LOL! Get well wishes to all those under the weather! So far so good for me but my son woke up with a sore throat and puffed up sinuses. He has a basketball game tonite too. Poor kid! |

Everyone feel better!! :love: I was SO horribly terribly sick last week. I was out of school from Tuesday-Friday. Then on Monday I woke up practically deaf (I had followed my friend around all day at school asking her to tell me what people were saying because I couldn't hear them). That lasted through yesterday. was pretty awful! The doctor gave me an antibiotic. I'm a little concerned cause I have an audition tomorrow and well....my voice isn't that great right now lol. Hopefully I'll be feeling better in the morning! |
I have been sick for 2 weeks and last week my doc said I have pneumonia. I started feeling better a couple days later and then today my cough is getting worse and my throat is on fire.... I hope everyone get better soon, and for those still working sick, all the more hugs. I am to much a baby and know I wouldn't do it... |
Guess Im not the only one..I have been fighting this cold for almost 3 week and nothing helps..I've tryed vit.C, cough syrup, pills and nothing is working :( .. |

I don't feel well at all. If I didn't know better I'd swear that I'm having a miscarriage right now! (I had my tubes tied 6yrs ago and have been on birth control pills since Oct. for female problems.) I'm cramping so bad and other things that go along with miscarriages. (blood clots the size of my fist) I'm trying not to be to graphic. I might go into the ER if this keeps up.:( Get well to all who are sick!!!!!! |
