We have lots of patients out there - I know our Moderator Kim (simonandhallie) is really sick with the flu :( :( and so many others are under the weather - Peanut, Lexi's mom ....Ellen (Dragonfly), yougetthesmiles etc - PLEASE come check in with us so we know how you're feeling ....and sending out get well wishes to you all :)

and Connie - a special one to you for your mom -

I have a kill-me sore throat for the past 2 days and it isn't getting better no matter what I do. Seems like it might turn in to a fever. duh.

I'm sorry - I haven't had a sore throat in over 15 years but remember how awful it is :( - have you tried Chloraseptic ??? (can't spell it) or maybe those new ones I keep seeing in the commercials ?

Hope everyone feels better soon!!!! This is the time of year for everything to hit! YUCK!

My DH had strep throat last week and is still on meds for it. We have all been "icky" for the last two weeks - thankfully, my daughter and I haven't gotten to the point of being really sick - we just have that "blah" feeling. I think it is the weather??!!

I have have a sore throat and My Husband has had the stomach flu. It sounds like it is going around right now.

Well, after a much dreaded trip to the dr. I have the beginnings of pneumonia and am currently taking Prednisone, Antibiotics and Tylenol with Codeine to sleep at night. And at the same time working b/c I can't find anyone here to help me with my classes and meetings I had scheduled. Lovely, huh?

I was sick last week but feel better now! I hope all who are sick feel better soon. I know some 80 degree weather would help alot of us feel better physically and mentally

I have had a crappy cold/cough/sore throat for the last few days but am starting to feel better!!

Oh man girl !! YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF and I can't believe you can't take some time off work :( :( I hope they appreciate you there (like WE do here)

that's what I'm watching my husband for right now - Even though he's on steroids - he's so congested & stuffed up - he can't breath at all ...and that's not good for someone as sick as he is...:( maybe I need to try antibiotics for him too ???

Not yet...It is supposed to be the coldest day of the year so I will wait till I can go out and buy...Doesn't help if I get sick after I go out each time too. Crappy immune system I have.

So far, so good for me! Prayers and get well wishes going out to all that are under the weather. This is a horrible time of the year to not feel well. And special prayers for all that are suffering from things worse than a cold or the flu or dreaded "bugs". I sincerely hope that a quick recovery is on its way. Stay warm, (unless your are too far south to be cold, and in that case, stay cool ;) ). Get well, everyone:) .

my husband just woke up and I'm SO mad at him (he doesn't know it though) he will NOT go to the doctor and if he keeps getting worse it's ambulance time. Why are men so stubborn ???? He knows pnemonia is a death sentence for him with his illness :( :( :(
