| Idea....When you find anything that concerns you, you can take a pic or few, type up a little story & mail it to your local paper. They might print it, might not but like you say just telling the manager it is wrong doesnt change doesnt change anything but one little section in the local paper & who knows. Take a pic & note that only one was left, a mouse trap would probably break my girls leg or her little toes . Thats crazy |

| Maybe you could have put the managers digit in there & asked him " How do you like it?!!"

| I would definitely express my concerns to the company that makes it and the manager of the store too. Sending an email to the newspaper isn't a bad idea either - I have seen comments on articles on just about everything in our local paper! I think that is horrible - not only is it very unsafe for the animals but for others in the house too (little kids, etc). So upsetting! I wonder how many people buy those types of things??

| They actually had one out one day at our local petsmart so that you could see it doesn't hurt them. I put my hand in it (with the paddle), and it didn't hurt - it just makes a loud noise and the action of it scares the dog/animal.

Can you contact your local authorities ie SPCA or Animal control? Media such as newspapers, local TV stations etc, your city or town hall as this is very dangerous. | |

| speechless here too. I'm HUGE on positive reinforcement and not negative. Yes, I admit I believe in time out but that is as far as it goes and every person that approaches us or friends and family think Zoe is very well behaved. |

| WTHeck That's not okay. Why would they sell a product that promotes inflicting pain or discomfort on an animal to so-called "train" it

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Nothing surprises me anymore. Those sound awful and it sounds dangerous......there IS such a thing called malfunction - and I can't believe anyone who loves their dog would buy such a thing |
