Connie's MOM....Update, Need more prayers - Page 5 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Oh Connie! I am so sorry I didn't see this before today! I will keep you and your mom and your family in my prayers. May God give you all strength and peace during this time...and I do believe in Miracles so May God give the doctors who are treating your mother the knowledge, the skills, and the necessary medicines to heal her and send her home whole.

Your mom is surrounded by love. I'm keeping you in my thoughts Connie and thank you so much for checking in - I'm here if you need ANYTHING OK ? ...I just wish there was something you needed but I know prayers are the most important and you have them...sending more and hugs. Hang in there girl - I know this has to be the worst time in your life and you aren't alone.

Oh, Connie, we are praying so hard for a miracle for your sweet Mom! Some of the most rewarding memories is staying with my Mom when she was in the hospital. She would be so lonely and afraid, but she knew I would never leave her. I would tell her, "You sleep and I will watch"!! She was afraid that if she slept, something terrible would happen. It's so comforting for them to know that they are not alone! God bless you for being such a good daughter. I am praying for your Mom and for you.

Connie I will try to keep this short..............My grandmother is like my mother to me....she was told she had cancer about 4 years ago, they did Chemo and said it was gone, then 4 months later they said it was back with a vengence....she refused to take chemo again ( I remember being so mad at her for not taking the chemo lol ) and they gave her like 3 moths to live and set up Hospice. Maw Maw continued to work the whole time. Anyway, after some months the hospice nurses would have to wait for Maw Maw to get home from work...lol she would leave work and go grocery shopping ( she was suppose to be gone by this time according to the doctor ) So after seeing the nurses just hanging around a few times I tell Maw Maw to schedule a appointment for a check up the doctor knew she hadn't taken chemo or anything but he re checked her b/c she wouldn't die. He came back and said its gone like it was never there, its not in remission its gone...........I need to tell you I am Spirit Filled and I stayed in prayer this entire time, I went to prayer levels I still don't understand.....Maw Maw has lost most her siblings to cancer, the youngest was 35 when she died....I would defiantly say cancer has been a curse in our family....well, Maw Maw was the first the one healed and I thank GOD for that. Matter of fact as I was reading this thread this morning Maw Maw stopped in with food for the kids on her way to work ( she has always like to bring food wether we want it or not lol )
I would just tell you to dig in and pray like your crazy,when you are dealing with the devil you can expect a fight but, trust in GOD even when things look and sound terrible.
When GOD steps in things are healed not put in remission!!

Connie email me today and her mom is still in alot of pain. They don't know anything else right now. Her (and Maddie) and Connie's sister are taking turns staying with her mom. She said poor Maddie just senses something is wrong because she will just snuggle with her mom or lays on the floor by her with these sad eyes. Connie also wanted me to tell anyone that she didnt complete their orders that Oscars Mom will do them. She has similar fabric and does a wonderful job. I posted a thread about it because she ask me too. I'll keep you guys updated as she updates me. She is going to try to call me tonight. She said thanks for all the prayers and that you guys are amazing and she thanks you for your support. Remember to continue to keep her in her prayers and if anyone wants to send her some nice uplifting cards then pm and I'll give you her address. Thanks!!!

Villette, I am sure Connie would do it for any of us! I am just trying to help out...I know she feels bad that she did not get them all done, but there is no need to do so. Her place is with her mom and we all understand that! God Bless you Connie for being such a good daughter!

First of all, I probably made Denise misunderstand about mom's pain. She doesn't have a lot of pain when she is in her recliner. It is when she gets up to go to the bathroom or something. I probably told Denise that Mom's pain didn't lessen after getting all that fluid drained from her, but she isn't in awful pain and I don't want you to think that. Thank goodness!

We are still waiting for the call from the doctor. My sister is there for when the call comes. I just had to come home and get some pj's and Maddie's nightie from Sissy's mom. It's supposed to snow here tonight. I'll probably be shoveling snow in the morn over at mom's! You all know how much I love that stuff!

Today my brother-in-law came over to Mom's and read healing scriptures and explained how to receive healing and I feel so much better. I know that my Mom can be healed in the name of Jesus and mom also believes. It's easy to fear, so I've got to try not to fear, but to believe.

I'm just home for a short time...then will be back at mom's tonight. I cannot begin to thank you all enough for your outpouring of love and prayers! It means the world to me!
