Denise, I'm sorry that your sister has to go thru this. I know what is feels like to have someone you love in that position. My dad and mom both had lung cancer. I will definitely say a prayer for your sister and you. I hope when the results of her test come back it's good news.

I know how you feel. I've had a friend with both brain and lung cancer at the same time go thru this, and she made it with flying colors even though the Dr. gave her 6 months or less. Another friend with lung cancer licked it too. I will say a prayer that your sister pulls it off as well.

About the size of a pea. They did more test and confirmed that is wasn't scar tissue and it may possibly be cancer. It was too far into the lung and too small to do the needle thing, so they told her to wait for 3 months and see if it has grown. Well on Friday is her other cat scan. If its grown they said its probably cancer and they will have to start kemo before they can operate to remove them. She is scared to death. She has 3 boys 11, 9 and 2. Please pray that its not cancer. I hate the word Cancer soooooooo bad. She has smoked since she was 18, which doesnt help. So any of you smokers out there...please try to quit. My brother-in-law is waiting on a biopsy as well. He hasn't been feeling well since around Thanksgiving. If he has cancer it is throat cancer. Keeping my fingers crossed for your sister. Please keep us posted.
