I LOVE Vegas!!! It will be 2 years in March since we went there, just me and my hubby we left our kids with my mother in Idaho

, I didn't have my fur babies yet. We were there for 4 days and it was a blast, my friend and her husband met us there from Chicago. We ended up staying at the worse hotel

because we didn't know any better, but we still had fun

I am from california origanially and plan to visit my family in the summer

and since it's only a 3 hour drive to Vegas, I asked my husband if we could go for a weekend

I took my dtr, her then boyfriend and ny niece 2 years ago for the first time and we had a great time, although they were all 18 and couldn't gamble. We stayed at the MGM and never did see the whole place it is so huge. When I go again I would stay at the Mirage it looked so nice. The Gondola ride is nice and all the places to eat. Have a great time.

I love love Vegas!! I go there at least once a year and could honestly say that each time I have gone has been better than the last! You are going to have the Best time! Please do not miss the Venetian gondola ride, fountains at the Winn and the shops at Ceasar's Palace, they are a Must! (I am not a gambler by the way, just a shopper!)

We are staying at the Flamingo this time. Hubby's friends wanted to stay there so we just follow.

My hubby and I were just there for a week in October. We had a great time! We went to the Wynn for a show (Le Reve, Le Veve? something like that) it was great! We ate there at the buffet first--kinda pricey, but ohhhhh so good. I felt guilty for making three trips to the dessert bar, each time coming back with three things, but it was soooo yummy.

But I have to agree the people watching was the best part! And the light shows. And it was interesting to drive through the older Vegas parts. And being from the Southeast most of my life, I was glad to eat at Marie Calllender's.

Have a great time and don't gamble TOO much!
