I read Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan but I like Fashion, etc sooo I dunno.

I like Cooks Country and I got a new Martha Stewart Everyday Food magazine that I kind of like. I also got the new Rachael Ray Mag and so far it's OK but not great. I love Rachael Ray, but the magazine feels like filler.

I am upset there is no Bark magazine on the list - so many of you have said good things about it! I am definitely going to look it up and get that!!!

I forgot about Rachel Ray, but it was NOT on the list either!!! And there is only the Martha Stewart Living - but I can go for that one!

Yes....easy to follow receipes things that my family enjoys.

how about 1 from each category. For sure I personally like Cosmo, Dog Fancy, any gardening or home book, Martha Stewart is good too. Whatever your hobbies are, you sure won't go wrong.

That is a good idea! I love to cook, garden/home, dogs, etc. I jsut need to go through the list and then narrow it down to the top 4 I want. - I picked 4 because that is how many spaces they have on the order form. (hee,hee) - I think my nephew gets a SHIRT for selling - a SHIRT!!!!! How funny!

My daughter is the "fashion" one, so I might bypass those for now. She gets all the "teen" versions of most of those.

They have Real Simple - in fact, I got that free years ago when they first came out w/ it! Love it - did you know, they have a television show too? Here, it comes on our local PBS station! We love watching it!

The Cooking Light - what is that like? That was one of the first ones I picked when I started this topic. Are recipes easy and easy to find ingredients? Do they talk about tips and hints too or is it just recipes? I am really interested in this one and I am glad that someone else gets it!

Cooking Light is the best! If I could only have one magazine subscription, that would be my pick. The recipes are great. They usually have a few slightly more complex ones that accompany articles to introduce you to a new cuisine or ingredient and they have two sections every month that I personally use the heck out of- Dinner Tonight and Superfast. Both sections have easy, fast and delicious recipes. It's not all food though. They always something on exercise, beauty and travel. They have a website cookinglight.com that would help you get a good feel for it. As far as Taste of Home- my grandmother gets that one. It does have good recipes but they are not the healthiest and, no offense meant to anyone, I promise, but they are a little old fashioned to me. Also if I'm remembering correctly, it is just recipes and stories behind the recipes.

I am all for recipes and if they are healthy, that is a big PLUS! -- course, if they are quick and easy, that is a big plus too! (ha)
