I didnt sign it, I dont see any problems with the Petlands in my area.

I live in the SF Bay Area in Calif. I have never seen a Petland or gone to one. What kind of store is it? And what is wrong with it? :confused:

It's a pet store that uses puppy mills to supply their inventory. That's just my personal knowledge. There are some threads regarding their store and I'm sure someone will post some articles soon.

I signed it because of the condition of the pets I've seen in petland here. I hate to see any business go down, especially one that caters to our pets. Maybe the owners and operaters can be educated after these complaints. The company makes to much money not to sit down with reputable breeders with contracts for ex amount of healthy puppies. Instead they deal with puppy mills or any joeblow mating dogs. These people are selling unhealthy pets because they don't know any better. The store owners may not know any better either.:thumbdown

I've signed every petition I can find about Petland - I don't know how much good they do but I signed -the other thing you can do is write your congresspeople

I signed it. I have heard a lot of bad reports about Petland. The one that was in our area closed a couple of years ago and I haven't seen it back. I think this is a good idea.

Well mine is as clean as a whistle too, but that does not mean that it's ok with what they are doing. Please go to this site, scroll half way down and read about them.

My baby is from the other Petland in town, but they are owned by the same idiot! My blood boils everytime I hear the name Petland. I look at my baby and wonder what all she went through... and I know that there are things that happened before we got her. She will not go under any covers! She didn't know how or want to eat. She still isn't a good eater. There's just so many things that have come up since I've been on here and learned about "puppy mills, brokers and stores".

They are making money off of our "LOVE" - and I for one resent it!

I Just Signed I Have Not A Petland Around Me But I Dont Like That At All, My Pup Was Abd Enough And I Dot Even Want To Imagine What Puppy Mills Are Even Like.
