| ?? Pink Chi ?? I don't know what the actual name of this thing is? But anyway, I wanted to get one, but where? what kind? I have long, straight, fine (not thin) hair. I have layers and I would like to use this to put curl into my strainds. I was at the mall and they had a booth and curled a few of my strainds and I really liked how it looked....BUT they wanted like $200 ...is this correct? Need help / advice / suggestions ...please |

| No, not really. You can use it to curl your ends under or flip them out, but not for curling. The one I have is a flat iron, not sure if they make a curling iron in pink. I think I got mine at beautygalaxy.com.

| The one that they used on my hair was kinda thin - maybe 1" and they grabbed my hair from the end and just wrapped it up and around. Held it for a second and then let go. I had a 'wave' to my hair. |

| not a Chi, but i'm looking into getting this.. SILVER NANO SUPERSTAR CERAMIC FLAT IRON http://www.katiebco.com/images/silve...ano_bag_sm.jpg Haven't you heard that it is sometimes best to go with a professional's advice? Well here I am letting you know one of the biggest secrets I have for styling hair. I have tried almost every straight iron. I have tried the CHI, which was my favorite before I discovered this flat iron, HAI, Maxi-Glide, Solia, Sedu, Hot Tools, Solano, T3 and more. But this ceramic straight iron is the best by far. Forget about trying all the straight irons from the local mall to find the "best" one. I promise you will not be disappointed with the straight iron I am recommending. It is the Silver Nano SuperStar Ceramic Flat Iron. I discovered this amazing straight iron when I attended a trade show for hair stylists and makeup artists, which is the place where only the best products are available and designed specifically for people in the trade. I walked by a stylist who was working on a client's hair. I could not believe the shine in the client's hair. Talk about unbelievable shine!!! At first I thought that the stylist had sprayed a shine product into the client's hair, but it was from the straight iron!!! I saw the dramatic change in the client's hair as the stylist pulled the straight iron through her hair. The dramatic change from normal dry hair to ultra shiny hair was astonishing. I also noticed how the stylist created volume by directly placing the straight iron on the client's mane and pulling the hair up. The straight iron was touching the scalp and I nearly freaked out. However, the stylist informed me that the blades were recessed, thus allowing stylists to get very close to the scalp and not burning the client. I was speechless. I knew I had to try it for myself. I am very specific about the blades of a straight iron. A good blade for me is a type of blade that glides off the hair. I hate it when the blades are tugging at the hair when I am trying to straight iron. So I tried the straight iron and I was in love. I learned that Pure Silver is added to the ceramic/tourmaline mix creating an even smoother surface on the plates. This mixture is then baked, and buffed on to the plates twelve times ensuring a completely smooth drag free surface. Enabling you to style with even more comfort and ease, allowing the iron to flow smoothly down each section of hair and at the same time eliminating frizz, enhancing shine, restoring the hair's condition, and repelling humidity. I am telling you, the more I learned about the technology behind the Silver Nano SuperStar Ceramic Flat Iron, the more of a fan I became. I also learned that a true ceramic straight iron blade will turn from a light shade to a dark shade if it is a true ceramic brick. For example, the ceramic blade for this straight iron will turn from bright red to a deep burgundy. Any other ceramic straight iron that does not change colors is simply ceramic coated. So ladies beware and make sure you are not getting ripped off. I also learned that the creator of this straight iron was one of the original creators of the CHI straight iron, which is probably one of the reasons I love this product even more since it embraces all the positive elements that I love about the CHI and now with this straight iron, it has better technology. The Silver Nano technology kills 99.9% of all harmful bacteria that may be on the skin, scalp, and hair. It even reduces airborne bacteria and kills known germs and viruses creating a safer healthier environment for both stylists, clients, and general consumers. This is the very same technology Samsung TM is using in their washing machines and the same technology hospitals use for medicinal and sanitary purposes. The Silver Nano SuperStar Ceramic Flat Iron allows you to straighten, wave, flip and curl with its bubble tip blade. To curl the hair, simply pull the blade through the hair and twist at the same time. The Silver Nano SuperStar Ceramic Flat Iron heats hair from the inside out to seal in moisture, color and shine using "negative ions" unlike traditional flat irons. This is the true definition of the best straight iron available on the market. It has unparalleled technology and performs amazingly. This product can only be found here on my site. This is not the regular black SuperStar Ceramic Flat Iron. This is the newer version with newer technology. It is the grey Silver Nano SuperStar Ceramic Flat Iron. If you make an order today, I will give you FREE SHIPPING!! I will also send you the Ceramic Flat Iron Koolz It bag for FREE!!! It is regularly $20.00 but I'll give it to you at no charge. This special is only for a limited time. This bag is designed specifically to accommodate hot styling irons. The bag is heat resistant up to 400 degrees and can hold almost every flat iron. You will never have to wait for your flat iron to cool down. Flip the pouch open and it doubles as a safe resting place for any flat iron while in use. Manufacturer's Brief Description: Heat resistant exterior with vented tip and non-slip grip Adjustable 120-420F degree rheostat Polished recessed plates - Allows iron to glide through the hair easily and prevents scalp burn PTFC Ceramic heater created by NASA provides consistent stable heat that reaches extreme temperatures fast (400 degrees in less than 8 seconds) UL approved swivel cord - 360 degree swivel is tangle free Regular Price: $170.00 Katie B's Price: $161.49, plus Koolz It bag for FREE + FREE SHIPPING! you can buy it along with all her other GREAT beauty products (I really recommend her mascara) www.katiebco.com |

| I'm thinking you saw a Corioliss It does curl if you do it right. Just have the girl show you and then ask to do it yourself so you can see JUST how to do it. Once you get the hang of the curlign it isn't too hard. I have 2 of them One pink and one black. 2 things.... do not pay the asking price!!!!! All of the kiosks have a list where they can seel it for less if the person looks like they are going to walk away instead of buying. Tell them you want there best deal and look like you mean to WALK! ALSO if you buy 2 (maybe take a friend) you will get a lower price. The one you are talking about is BEST in my opinion. They actually have 3 kinds. The one you are talking about is SUPER lightweight and does the curling also. Don't pay more then about $150 for it because they CAN come down that low. Also make sure for that price you get the newer version with the longer cord and on off switch. The older model doesn't have a switch.

| Oh I forgot... With the corioliss it's crazy... what you do is take a piece of hair, wrap it one around the barrel then slide the barrel down the hair. OMG you would think it would flatten it but NOPE.... when it glides of the end it looks flat but you do swirly with your finger and like magic you have a ringlet.....IT"S CRAZY You should also get a free heat bag with this and a bottle of spray you can choose to use
