| Unexpected YTer Meeting Some of you might remember that my son moved to Myrtle Beach with his girlfriend back in November. Well, I few out just for the weekend to see him. Sissy stayed home with the hubby. We had a great visit and he is very happy with his decision. Before departing for the airport, we got some lunch at a drive thru and went to a park to eat since the weather was beautiful. This park has a couple ponds, many swings and benches and a great paved walkway that goes for miles. There were tons of people out walking, biking and walking dogs. Across the pond, I see a couple with a few dogs on leashes. I commented to my son - those look like Yorkies to me. He thought I was crazy and said I couldn't possibly recognize a Yorkie from across the pond. Low and behold, the couple walks around the pond in our direction and these are definitely Yorkies, 4 of them!! Of course I had to stop them and talk with them. Well, who might it be but a fellow YTer "Artie Merlino" her boyfriend and their pups (Mommy & Daddy(Artie) and two of their 20 week old female pups)!!! What a small world it is!!!! We talked for about 1/2 hour till I had to leave to get to the airport and catch my flight. Anyone looking for a female pup on the East Coast could not go wrong with the one pup that is for sale. Breeding quality, too!! Here are a few pics of my son, Cory, and I, our view from the hotel, the sunrise Saturday morning and he and his girlfriend, Liz. I didn't think to get my camera out when talking with the Yorkie gang as I was busy getting Yorkie kisses!!!!

| Thanks for all your kind words. My son is not only handsome, but he is a very caring young man, who cooks, cleans and does laundry as well!! I miss him terribly. It was great to see him this weekend and his girfriend actually stayed with her mom as her sister was also in town, to give us some mother/son private time. He got a great job at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of SC with wonderful benefits and he is registered to begin at Coastal Carolina University Spring Semester to finish out his Bachelor Degree. They are hoping to have their own place by the beginning of March and he plans to "pop the question" June 1. I'm already looking forward to my next trip!!

| That is great! I know you and Joy chatted back and forth about possibly meeting, but she lived several hours from where you were, so that is awesome to meet another YTer --- and it being a surprise meeting too! That is great! I hope you enjoyed your "short" trip! That is wonderful that you got to spend some time w/ your son! Boy, he is a handsome guy, isn't he?!

| You have a very handsome son and he looks so much like you. His girlfriend is really pretty and I know your going to have some awfully cute grandkids You will be keeping the skys hot for sure. Love the place you stayed right on the beach and all. I dearly love the ocean sunrise on the east side. I lived as close to the beach in Jacksonville, FL. as your hotel was, and the sunrise was always such a beautiful sight. It filled the house with a bright orange glow. How nice to find a fellow YT person. You really did have a very special time I can see. I'd be anxious to go back as well. |

| What great pics - your son is sooooo good lookin'! Having lived in MB for 7 years before moving back to PA last Spring, I know how nice it can be there. Krysten is going back this week to get her degree in business. Coastal is a great school and I wish him all the best. I just never understood their mascot - a Chanticleer?? LOL - it's some sort of rooster.
