| I'm sorry, but I MUST vent! or I'm gonna be on the 11 o'clock news We have a hot tub. I cannot normally use it, since my skin is very very sensitive. The ONLY time I can use it and not break out into a horrible rash is when the water in it is "new". We change it about 4 times a year, so 4X a year, I use the hot tub with great pleasure. Today should have been that day My husband has this dummy friend of his here, that I cannot STAND. He's dirty and scummy and wears the same clothes for DAYS on end (gee, wonder why he's single) Hubby was out front washing his truck, and I was in the kitchen getting dinner started. I'm looking out the window and I see this SCUMBAG climb into MY hottub, without even showering first God only knows how long he's been wearing the shorts he has on, and he's HAIRY, ewww (again, where is that barfing emoticon?!?!) I was SO looking forward to a nice soak tonight, and now that's not going to happen, I'm not getting in there and then itching for days on end and breaking out all over my body :ick: I am very sensitive to bacteria and dead skin and the detergents that some use on their clothing, which ends up in the tub That is why you're supposed to wear a SWIMSUIT, hello?!?! Okay, I got that out, but honestly I don't feel much better. Am I overreacting? Being a baby?

I Love Thor Donating Member | Gosh, that sounds soooo dissapointing! What a screw ball!!!! I can't believe he did't shower aka respect your hot tub before entering it. Did you tell him that he ruined it for you? Maybe you guys can change the water really soon, especially for you just this once so you can get your long awaited soak. |

| totally not being a baby! from your rather, er, vivid desription, this guy does sound really gross. My boyfriend has several of these friends that I occasionally wake up to belching on my couch. I got really fed up with them turning my beautiful living room into their personal ESPN zone, and finally I just let my anger out on my boyfriend! He was actually surprised & confused, as he clearly did not see them the same as I did. But he heard what I said, and the next day cleared out a spare bedroom & stuck a TV and couch in there, along w his dartboard & alcohol. Now, he has his space, and I have mine I think if u explain to your hubby exactly how you explained to us, he will understand how u feel. They KNOW they're dirty, stinky, & hairy! At the very least, it will hopefully never happen again, but maybe they'll clean out the tub so you can enjoy a soak! Sorry your plans were ruined, but I hope it works out better for the future!! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | PLEASE TELL ME HE HAD A SUIT ON cause if I looked out my window and saw some naked hairy dude climing into my hot tub (dont have one but that isn't the point lol) I think I'd throw something at him - did the guy even ASK ??? that's not being a baby or overreacting and I'd make HIM clean it so you can use it yourself. Men can be pretty inconsiderate but that's really out there just helping himself to something that personal. |

| Yeah, he had shorts on, if he woulda been naked, I would have KILLED him and you'd have never heard my icky tale It was really rude of him to just climb in there. I already can't use it 99% of the time, and it really ticked me off. My husband spent HOURS scrubbing it out today, there's no way he's going to drain it and do it again, and I'm certainly not going to do it. Oh well, maybe I'll just have to get a hotel room with a jacuzzi tub

| Ugh what an amazing view. My husband is a really good guy, he really is, although I have a real hard time remembering it sometimes. He hasn't alot of time to himself, heck we dont have anytime together lately! We planned a nice evening TOGETHER, kids asleep the whole bit, dinner etc.............. Then one of the buddies showed up. Guess what happened to one of those very RARE nights?? You got it, they got even rarer. I even complained loudly, but then I remembered the good stuff he does. I like his friend but I certainly didnt want to see him here on that night! I even shared our dinner. Call me a smuck! But come to find out he was really upset, his wife told him to get the * out for awhile. Amazing how a football game cures all. Men who in the heck understand them? |

| Ew yucky. I hate it when people get in your hot tub with clothes on too. One time My Brother in law came over when we werent home and got in ours with his shorts on. We were forever cleaning the foam from the detergent in his clothes out of our tub
