this is a horrid event! the man worked at the local army base like my hubby and he knew himat lowes feild for afs.
jennifer and scott jacobs are their names they had a little boy together he is about 4 .that's what this was about the man had temp. custody of their son she had just gotten papers for custody of him and went to pick the boy up. she has 2 other daughters and he had another older son. they were together right before christmas we had seen them at the local golden corral resturant and my hubby spoke to the man. but about a week prior to this happening the police were called out for another domestic dispute between them.
the man called 911 before she even arrived at his house located on hwy 123 in ozark al and told them what he had planned to do and that they would both be dead before anyone could arrive to help! he shot her 2x in the head between the eyes then he turned the gun on himself .they took him to the hospital in dothan but he has died,from what i have been told..my brother in law is a local city of ozark officer he had to go to the scene ! jennifer jacobs was a city officer and just recently transfered or moved to being a st trooper officer! now their little boy has no parents!
what in the h%$# is wrong with people these days !!! what has become of the world and our society when someone who is payed very minimal wages to save & protect the lives of others is murdered by someone they once loved & trusted ! what about the child! i can only hope he did not witness any of this tragedy and if he did he will not rememebr it ! this whole thing makes me so sick

sorry but i just don't know how to feel or what to think about something like this. i'm not VERY close to my brother in law who is an officer but i like them & his family they are awesome people and all i can do is just hope that something like that will never happen to him when he goes to work. many of the local officers don't wear their vests because it's a small town and well nothing can really happen around here they take it for granted! let's just wish hope pray they will take this seriously and watch what they are doing! i still don't get how he could have just shot her like that without her being able to protect herself or fight or anything! she was a law enforcement officer!
