| She made little whining sounds which alerted Sally to the situation. Just as Lucky darted ahead to play with the puppy, Sally was distracted by the sound of her mother calling. When she looked down, Lucky was running fastest as fast can be to the puppy.

| But before she could scoop Lucky up..........there he stood, a black and white Great Dane staring at them both. She was frightened and Lucky just stared at his long legs and big teeth.

| But suprisingly, the great dane just laid donw on the ground and rolled around, inviting the little pups to join him. He wasn't a threat after all. Maybe he would even be a friend and teach them all about being doggies.

| Mr. Great Dane saw the "dog pound truck" approaching. He being keenly alert, noticed that little Lucky didn't have any tag on...........he knew what danger this could mean for her so he..........

| quickly picked her up, ever so gently, in his mouth and ran with her to the door of Sally's house. He set the puppy down on the stoop and gave one night "Woof!" With one paw on the puppy and the other on the door, the great dane...

| And gave out a bark, it was so happy to be getting a nice treat, Sallys mom looked at the big dog and said who are your owners, Do you not have a home? The big dog looked at her with its big eyes Just as Sally walke din the door. She was so happy to see Her Lucky was home and she said MOm what do we do with this big dog, Do you think.......... |
