| I've heard a lot of negative things about version 7. Do they have a patch for it that you can download? If they don have one yet I imagine they will soon. |

| There isn't a patch on the website, or I just didn't see one. I'm boycotting them at the moment. I've lost too much work in the last week.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | OMG I HATED IT - watch for the Auto Updates - I didnt look at one and it put IE7 on my computer and spent hours getting rid of it the other day - now I still don't have the MSN search function I like - IE7 Sucked for me too anyone who needs help uninstalling it - you have to go to your control panel and physically remove it - but it's tricky cause there are 2 other little program files you have to remove also ....even THEN you may not have the function you had. |

But I didn't have an earlier version on this computer--it already had 7 installed when I bought it. Is the earlier version still available somewhere? Maybe I can uninstall this version and install the earlier version... I'll just use firefox right now--it seems to be more dependable at the moment. I didn't used firefox in the past because some websites did not work right, including all of the work related sites for my job so I had to use internet explorer. I just need to get the earlier version so I can get some paperwork done

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I'm pretty sure you can go get IE6 even if you had only 7 - - I've been using that over a year and like it - they have downloads on the MS site - but IE7 did suck - what are they thinking ?? they need to let people preview it before they get stuck with it .... | My husband accepted an update to install IE7 on his pc too and it was just awful. We couldn't even get it to recognize we had an internet connection. We googled it from my laptop and were able to find directions to uninstall it. I don't understand why they didn't test it before putting it out...it's just terrible. |
