| ![]() I have read another thread about the Bare Minerals makeup and you seem to know a lot about it and use it, I am wanting to order some but there is so much to choose from. What do you recommend for a beginner? I now wear a liquid base, mascara, lip gloss or lipstick and blush daily. Sometimes eyeshadow. I have been looking at the starter kit for $60, but I think I want some blush, lipstick and eyeshadow too, maybe a few shades of eyeshadow. What colors would you recommend in those? I would get the medium shade makeup, I just need some advice on the best colors on the other stuff. I figured you would be one of the best to ask, you seem to know your stuff and highly recommend it. Anyone else with input would be greatly appreciated too.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() I use it thanks to Sherry Lynn here - and I would go for the starter kit - if you buy it seperate it costs more - I LOVE it. It's really nice makeup and worth the money - The colors all depend on your skin tone but you can go see them in person at places like ULTA and other high end stores - go experiment then get the starter kit online. I think that's the best way because each product individually is kind of expensive - and if you don't like it - you can always return it |

| ![]() No, we have nothing like that. I see JCpenny web site has it through Sephora, but I don't know if our store has it. QVC has a ton on their site, there is just so much to choose from, I don't know where to begin. I know I am going to get a starter kit with the makeup. I just am trying to figure out the best colors in the other stuff(eyeshadow, blush, lipstick) and what other brushes I would need.

| ![]() I just saw the starter kit and Bed Bath & Beyond for $35. I love the stuff. I just use the face powders though, I don't know much about the other make up.

| ![]() ok... Tell me what shadow colors you wear now... and I can give you B M colors... What shade/color of bluush do you wear?? Lipstick?? If you tell me the colors you uasually lean towards I can totally give you reccomendations, I have a huge selection of colors.. I were them all! Its crazy the colors I own... I don't stick to one group! lol I used to! But not anymore! But you need to start somewhere! Oh! And another GREAT suggestion... Ebay Starter sample kits! There are people who make their money buying shadows and blushes and liner shasows and scooping them out into sample pots... so you can TRY them befor you BUY them... its perfect for someone like you!!! I've done it! I often sample a new line of colors befor I fork ocer the big bucks for them. When you buy the full sized pots, you are buying enough for a year of EVERY DAY wear!!! I swear a little goes a LONG way!!! So Check ebay for SAMPLE Bare Minerals but make sure they are the real Bare Esentuals! Not some off brand! ![]() Look on ebay... but still get me those colors!

| ![]() I wear black mascara, a rose color blush, I lean towards mauve or bronze beige in lipstick, although I like nude and pinky glosses too, and beige or purple colored eyeshadows. I experiment with eye color a lot, but would probably start with a neutral in beige.I have green eyes and dark brown hair. I will check Ebay for samples too. What brushes should I get for the blushes and eyeshadows too? So glad you were here to get help from, you always seem to know about all of the good stuff.

| ![]() Well I researched on all of the BE items last night till midnight, and I think I know a lot about their stuff now. I ended up ordering the starter kit from Sephora plus some brushes and a lot more, I got free shipping there. I also orderd some items from QVC and Ebay. I am so excited, I can't wait to try it, I hope I like it...I spent way too much money so I better like it. Now I would likr to find a good brand for wrinkle prevention and moistuizing...not that I have many yet, but want to prevent and reduce. Any suggestions on what is good?? I was looking at Yves Rocher, I have had samples and I like it, anyone use it??
