| Has your dr said anything to you about possibly having gastroparesis? I have gastroparesis, some of the symptoms are nausea and vomiting http://digestivedistress.com/ Gastroparesis and Dysmotilities...What does this mean? Gastroparesis is a severe neuromuscular disorder of the stomach that results in a partially to completely paralyzed stomach. Individuals suffer with a spectrum of symptoms called "Dyspepsia". These symptoms range from nausea, vomiting, belching, stomach acid washing into the mouth (reflux), feeling of fullness after a few bites of food (early satiety), abdominal pain, abdominal bloating, change in bowel habits and weight loss. People with Gastroparesis can have substantial loss of their quality of life and are house bound for months at a time. Gastroparesis is also known as "Delayed Gastric Emptying". Delayed Gastric Emptying can be a component of numerous other gastrointestinal disorders like: Nonulcer Dyspepsia, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Functional Dyspepsia, Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome, Functional Abdominal Pain, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS); and also found in a subset of individuals with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome1.

| I am so sorry you feel so horrible. DO you have any idea what this uncomfort might be? I hope that this is just a minor virus and that you are only in temporary pain.

| I feel so bad for you! *HUG* I will pray for you! My niece has a really weird disease that affects her esophagus and I don't remember the long name of that, but with her, they believe it is allergy related. It is too late to call her tonight, but I'll try to get ahold of her tomorrow and ask her what it is. Best wishes to you and Maddie sends get well kisses!

I would also ask about GERD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastroe...reflux_disease This is what I have and I had the same symptoms as you. I would mostly vomit during the night...but also during the day. One night we thought it was a heart attack and went by ambulance to the hospital. Since I am on medication, I've had no more attacks. I hope they can find out exactly what is wrong. Keep us updated, my prayers are with you.

The GERD is so painful and affects the esophagus terribly if not treated. I hope what ever your diagnosis is, you will be on the mend in no time. Best wishes and please, please keep us informed.
