Kim, I am very clear on the fact that I can live quite happily on my own and I have made sure that my husband is very clear on this fact, too. We both know that I will be treated with respect or I'm outta there. It's mutual. I don't expect my husband to put up with bad treatment from me either.

It's not a matter of what "this man" wants, Kim. It's a matter of what you want!

My opinion is like the others. You previously have gotten excellent advice about your husband...........you seem to stand behind him still so to each their own.

This is a touchy subject..............also, I think you need to get rid of him and work on your self esteem. :(

Please don't feel like this. My ex-husband was just like yours is now. Every time something came up in our marriage he threw weight in my face. I ended up in the hospital after my second child was born because I drank water ONLY for 31 days straight. I know exactly how you feel and just want you to know that I will be thinking of you. I hope you can find the courage and self-confidence to do what's right for YOU. The right thing for me to do was to file for divorce when my son was 6 weeks old. (Right after I got out of the hospital) I've never looked back.

Kim, dont feel bad about coming here.... some people just have stronger opinions than others.
You do what is right for YOU! Getting some other insight will help you to think about your personal choices!

LOL! That is so funny -- a while back we were talking with a couple that kept all their finances separate, separate checking and savings, everything. My husband said, "In our marriage it's all the same....what's hers is hers and what's mine.....well, that's hers too." Everyone cracked up!

I guess I am the spender -- but it's all for the "greater good." :)

hubby tells me i have to pay him back also every now & then maybe because i spent $1000 on 2 dogs he's not a pet person anyways tell your hubby to kiss your butt he owes you way more than a yorkie costs for tolerating him daily!

I have read your post and I see you keep defending him, "he isn't mean he just goes though fazes" Well my dear he is mean. First of all a marriage should not be I do something nice you have to PAY me back. A man who loves you would not put your baby in harms way (breeding Gracie) He also would not black male you to loose weight ( specially when you have had an eating disorder in the past)

He may not physically abuse you but he IS mentally abusing you. I don't know you so I don't know your whole story. I have seen a situation like this and it affected me personally and ended awfully.

If you would please e-mail me or PM I would love to talk. I could even give you my home # or get yours.
