hey, Thanks guys for this thread... I sometimes feel left out and pouty too, but I know better, but HEY, I found me a new buddy already!

and just for the record... my EVERYTHING was born in the deep south, right here, Baton Rouge, Louisiana..... I could never leave here!

Well...I was trying to stay out of the boob talks...but I gotta add some to it...Mine were born in Altus Oklahoma on an Air Force Base and then we moved North and they stayed north until I had kids then they moved permanently SOUTH

I enjoy looking at everyone's pics. and can't wait to someday get mine on. Stay with yorkietalk. It's the best.

A lovely post. I think alot of us stay with YT even though we're ignored (there is a clique) because there are some really special breeders that are so generous with sharing their knowledge when needed. It doesn't matter whether our Yorkies are puppy mill quality or show quality and whatever falls inbetween. Sorry but now I just killed this thread by posting!

I envy the closeness that some of you have.

I know it may seem like a clique but I can tell you that for me it's not. I'm going through a major health scare right now and just hanging out and having fun on this site is helping me get through this.

It's not about the incrowd or the outcasts. It's about just jumping in and having fun. I know some people are shy (like myself ) but that shouldn't make you feel unwelcome or unnoticed. You do what you have to do. I know I would do anything to make you or anyone feel more involved.

I don't even post all the time. I go through spurts. And right now I can use the camaraderie and friendship this forum offers.

I totally agree with Carolyn - (and hugs girl - I know it's been a tough time for you) but people dp come and go in spurts ...I know I post alot & should probably just be quiet ....but this kind of thread IS good for people....

We just had several little yorkies die this past 24 hours....personally - that really bothers me. To have Christine post this kind of thread is a good ice breaker for those who do feel a bit out of place... it could have been serious or had a few jokes - I personally like the jokes - it's a and good way to relax a bit and get to know the people who ARE feeling shy.

This site may seem to have cliques ....but it's really just regular posters who may joke back and forth - it's all in fun and everyone on the site is free to jump in anytime - the more the better ! I don't feel like it's high school at all - it's just spending time on the net and enjoying other peoples company....we all love yorkies so we ALL have that in common already...the rest is just icing on the cake.

this was a really good post. You're right - people here will jump in to help always. Sometimes a few things get said that may not be what a person wants to hear - but when you have THIS many people in one place it's bound to happen -

Many passoniate yorkie lovers (me included) really hate it when people use the term "TEACUP" for advertising pups. Since AKC does not recognize the term in reference to Yorkies it is just an advertising ploy to charge more $$.
