| How about "an evening all about him", cook his favorite meal, rent his favorite movie, serve his favorite snacks and continue the theme all the way through the evening (if you know what I mean)!!

| If your creative and have enough cardboard boxes laying around you could make a large cardboard box birthday cake ( 3-layer) , play some music, dress up (you know what I mean) and pop out of it for him and give him a night he will not forget .. Oh, don't forget the candles..

I am a stay at home mom and I use to cry when my girls would go to the show with my mom. Now that they are 8 and 13 it's so us time when they are gone for the night.

| Ok, so, make the kids a big part of his birthday. The little one could make him a tape or video of her singing songs or doing dances or dressing up or just being cute and silly, singing happy birthday, saying I love you Daddy, etc. You could help the older make a "Daddy Book"....answer questions and illustrate: What do you love the most about Daddy? What's your favorite thing to do with Daddy? What's the silliest thing Daddy does? What does Daddy do that makes you proud? etc.

| How does Daddy make you laugh? What's your favorite thing that Daddy cooks? What song do you and Daddy like to sing together? If Daddy was a superhero, what would his super-power be? What's the goofiest thing that Daddy wears? When is Daddy the handsomest? (I like to brainstorm! )
