| Yep -- get the Vick's -- if just a swipe of it under the nose does not work, but some in a small pan of boiled water, hold a towel over your head and enhale the vapors. This always works for me. If you can get it at the beginning, try Zicam -- I like the individual swabs the best.

| I second Vicks - but there is also a nasal spray that works wonders too! I can't remember the name, but it was recommended by a school teacher when I worked at our school. I hate nasal sprays, but boy, I dealt w/ it and it has always worked awesome!

| Sorry! Hope you feel better soon! I wish I could remember that nasal spray! No matter how stuff I was, it seemed to help! Plus, it was great to use too right when you started feeling sick! I will look and see if I have any and I will post the name if I do.

| I'm down with the crud too and feel absolutely awful. It started Monday and I went to the Dr. Tuesday. She gave me an rx for Augmentin, but said it probably wouldn't help since it was most likely viral. So, I decided not to get it filled. It's Thursday and I was up at 1:30 this morning with the right side of my head so congested my teeth were hurting. I'd been using the Ocean saline spray and it didn't work at all. Did go get the rx filled and broke down and used the Afrin. What a relief! I'm still not back to normal, but at least I can breathe. Aleve took away the headache. Hope you're back to normal soon as I know how you feel. |

| Try taking an antihistamine like Benedryl. A pharmacist told me to do it and boy did it help!
