| Yes, it's quite safe if you are using it to pay for some stuff you bought on eBay or something. I'd suggest using your credit card to make the payment and not use the bank transfer (which is the default method of payment). |

| I use it a lot...especially paying for or receiving ebay payments. One thing to beware of...if you get any emails saying they are Paypal and want you to update your info or anything like that, don't do it. There are a lot of spoof emails going out claiming to be ebay or paypal asking to update info and then they get your credit card numbers, bank info. If you get one you aren't sure of, just forward it to spoof@paypal.com or spoof@ebay.com and they will let you know for sure that it is not legit. I have gotten lots of them and so far, no one of them has been from paypal or ebay...so...just beware of that! |

| My husband and I use paypal all the time. We make a lot of ebay purchases, and it also comes in handy when someone is sending you money. Paypal is very safe and easy to use! And on top of that, it's free! I love it.... And like I said, it's good to use to transfer money also, and A LOT cheaper than Western Union!

| Thanks so much for the heads up Connie!! I'm not sure that I would have recognized a scam paypal e-mail. I also heard that you are never supposed to use a link from an e-mail site that might be asking for financial info. You're supposed to go to the site yourself cause the link might be taking you to someone trying to get your info instead of where it said. OK, this message is really jumbled, but has anyone heard this?

| I think Pay Pal is great. The only bad thing about it is if people send you money using their credit card you get charged a 3% fee. If its a large amount its really annoying. They took about $30 or so bucks from me when I sold my computer on eBay.

| I use it all the time and love it, for buying and selling on ebay. Do be careful about the scams though mentioned in earlier posts. I don't like the fees they charge to sellers either but I guess the convenience is worth it. It's so easy to use!
