| Christmas At Our House Hello all, Christmas at our house is all about my girls...My oldest is 22.5, my next is 20.5, my next is 11 (Will be on Jan 17th) and my baby is 8 and my last baby my grandaughter is 10.5 months and we all get together every year even tho my 2 oldest have moved out on their own, we make cookies, candy and a gingerbread house...This year was extra special to me for I was a new grandma this year and I love every single minute of it. I made 570 cookies for my hubbies construction company empoyees, my mom and dad, each of my girls and my sister, brother in law and neice who is 11 also. I also made 12 or so dozen candy so I started on Mon. the 18th of Dec. Then my girls 1st cousin was in a car wreck and her husband of a year passed away in the wreck on Sun Dec 17th 2006, Nicole My neice is still fighting for her life @ age 22 she doesn't even know her husband is gone on and they had his funeral for she was in ICU with her brain swollen and her jaw broken in 3 diffrent places but she is slowly getting better just will take time and GODs help, then my hubbys Grandmother passed away Wed. Dec 20, 2006. With having little children we can't let life bring us down to the point of hurting our children, I knew if we didn't do these cookies and house Thur the 21st as we had already had planned then they too would be so sad so we all chose to go on and do this for the little ones...And let me tell U it was a blessing to us all, we prayed for those who's hearts was sadded with their loss and ours as well but my babies are my life and I will put on whatever face I have to for them! We got most of it all done...NO the house is STILL to this day setting on my table and we are slowly working on it but it will get done one day!! LOL! But the cookies got delivered Friday, we went to grandma's funeral showing Friday eve,the to her funeral Sat. If U could say Beautiful about a funernal, then I'd have to say that was the most beautiful funeral I've ever been to in my life, she looked like an angel there!! Truely beautiful! Bawled our eyes out, but at peace now and so is she!! I truely hope I can be a great mother and grandmother as she was to her children and grandchildren! She was so kind and sweet! But we went on had christmas @ our house X-Mas eve and had Christmas again on X-Mas morning! I am so truely blessed with my living dolls my 4 beautiful daughters, my grandaughter and my Yorkies and my Hubby!! I wouldn't know what to do if I lost a child!! They truely are my life...Both inside and out!! I ask God every night to please bring them home safely to me everytime they leave my house and Thanks God he does! Please everyone take just a second to look around us and see what each of us truely have!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE!!!!!!!!!!! Our Families!!!!!! I hope U all enjoy the photos!!! Hugs and Love, Lee |

| Lee, your girls are beautiful and I suspect they are beautiful inside & out! Thanks for sharing with us. You are right, sometimes you have to put on a happy face for others. It's particularily hard when you lose a loved one and especially at Christmas, the happiest time of the year! We will be praying for your neice .... God bless and comfort you all. Hopefully 2007 will be a better year for us all.
