| Maybe someone just got the wrong house. It happened to me once at Midnight in an apartment I was in. Someone rang the doorbell and I was home alone sound asleep. Hopefully you can get back to sleep. Count Yorkies instead of sheep...

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | aww that's gotta be scary. I hope you can get back to sleep. I'm pretty sure I scared the pants off of some people last night. My friend and I were out with Santa visiting people's houses in town. the camera the photographer was using ran out of film so they sent me out to the car in the rain to get another thing of film. It was pouring out so I flew up the driveway and rang the door bell (it was probably about 10:30 PM) and I see a man open the door....oops wrong house. So this guy who I probably woke up sees a girl standing outside his house in an elf costume soaking wet, who takes off running after she sees him. I wonder what he thought?

My furkids Donating Member | We have a door bell that have been doing that since we bought it! matter of fact...it rang while it was still the the package! It's not a hard wired door bell..It rings by itself all the time...freaks me out when I'm home alone...I don't even bother checking the door anymore LOL...people know we are usually down stairs in the family room so if we don't answer the door they always come around to the back door...maybe its a ghost!

| I would buy one of those little things you can put in your porch lights. I think it's called a motion sensor, if someone comes to your door, the light will come on. Too scary!!!

| My in-laws have a wireless doorbell and their neighbors across the street have one too. They are both on a similar frequency or something because if someone rings the neighbors doorbell, my in-laws doorbell rings too. |
