| Friend's son is in Africa with Malaria I feel so bad for my friend at work. His son and his son's girlfriend are in Africa doing some humanitarian work and the son is now in hospital with Malaria. He was airlifted to a hospital in Nairobi (Kenya) yesterday. I spent my whole morning at work calling Africa to try to get my friend connected with the hospital. Phone lines to Africa suck! I finally got them in touch with one another and at least my friend was able to calm down a bit about the situation, and was reassured that his son was resting comfortably. He was just beside himself when he was first telling me. He was so choked up he could barely speak. I find it ironic that I was just saying last week how I would never go to Africa because my fear of malaria...http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...t=34668&page=3 Please send prayers for my friend's son. He does a lot of good work for the less fortunate in this country and around the world. I hope he overcomes this and flies home soon. |

| Wow, that's horrible for him. Had he not gotten the proper vaccines/medications?
